Making a Topographic Map of Westeros based on Game of Throne

- My anniversary is coming up soon and I am making a surprise build for my wife based on her favorite TV series, Game of Thrones. We recently went to a Fan Expo and saw some really cool topographic maps of classic video games, which gave me the idea to make a map of Westeros on my laser cutter. For this build, I used: 1/8 inch plywood - 7 sheets, leather dye, Locktite wood glue, super glue, and Mod Podge. You may also need the following tools: a rotary tool with various bits, a heat gun, a laser cutter (I have a Glowforge), sand paper, and an Exacto knife or box cutter. Having a couple of projects going at one time helps me mask what exactly I am doing. I was juggling 3 at the time.

Did you end up fixing the 3rd layer that got glued on upside down or is the next to bottom one just an odd one now? Still looks great in the end.
I left it upside-down. By the time I realized what I did, I would have needed to start over. With the window, I had to get the build out before our vacation, and I left some flaws.
At the end of GOT, Arya asked what was west of Westeros? We quipped two answers.. Easteros (Yeah we know but the maps were already made and named, so... ) and Narnia. :)
LOL. It would make for an epic spin off. She was one of the most interesting character storylines.
