Everytime I see a proposal video and they propose publicly I feel so uncomfortable because its basically forcing the person to say yes or to publicly humiliate themselves and their partner.
Honestly if my partner put me on the spot like that I would consider it grounds for a break up because at that point they should know me well enough to never do that

Grandiose public displays are just the fucking worst. Like, I understand that some people think public proposals are romantic/fun, especially because it’s engrained in movies and tv shows, but just...talk it over w/ your significant ofher first. It rlly wont ruin the experience. Tbh it radiates the same energy as like, surprise birthdays for people who dont like surprises. Its one of those scenarios that is exciting for one person and absolutely anxiety inducing for the other.
