I live on the water and have a few different styles of boat. Regular kayak, fishing kayak, 12' aluminum V, 14' aluminum flatbottom (sold it) and a 1958 MFG we are currently restoring. It's dammed river with a lot of islands and backwater channels with slow current, shallows mixed with holes. I am always for the best fishing platform for solo fishing, that little round boat is sweet. Like your videos, found them watching boat restoration vids.

When the water warms up, you should find some pilings or floating debris and sight fish for some tripletail! With that lightweight and quiet boat I'm sure you could sneak up on them super easy. Have you ever caught one before? I caught my first last year, and it is the most exciting/addictive style of fishing out there. It doesn't hurt that they are super tasty too. A prize well worth the hunt.
I really like the Roundabout boat. It's just an efficient, laid back design. Can't really go wrong with it. If I was buying something other than a kayak think I would consider this over a Jon Boat. It would make a great base rental unit for a fishing business if you could arrange space on the water.

I can't find a video of yours on it. I'm finishing a wooden framing support for it tonight, but, I like yours as it's very clean.

Eric it tracks straight as an arrow! Has 3 strakes on the bottom that act as small keels. The only time the boat really turns is if you make it turn or if you're fighting a fish and the boat will turn with the fish!
that's a sweet boat I've talked to them i wish I could afford it. I'm thinking about selling my bass boat to get me a couple them one for me and my daughter. then when I'm out with kids from my group I meet we can let a Dad and son go out and me and my daughter and go fish. I'm looking for some cheap plastic boats or cheap Jon boats to have a fishing contest let a parent and kid group up and go catch fish. but being disabled its a slow process I'm having to swap and trade to fins things since I can't make money working. but with the lords help I'll get it done. thank Sir. god bless. and fish on.
