I kinda like the haul slap sound. it's peaceful because it always reminds me that im in a good place whenever i hear it. always having a good time when im on a boat.
...I like that sound, bloop-bloop, blop-bloop-bloop ...with the wind and the other sounds out on the water. I am really pleased to see that nobody is adding a stereo as a modification.
Awesome mod with the umbrella, honestly have never seen that before and i was quite impressed with it! And I second all of these other comments, more boat updates man! We wanna see the dream in action!
I understand a man has to do what he has to do to make it in this world but when I get a notification that a Zoffinger video is up I am not confident I'll see fishing. I miss the old red yak and the fishing!
hey Marty, really love your vids. i live right in the little manatee in ruskin. let let me know and one of these days we'll drop my Carolina skiff in the water and catch some snook!
I'm looking at purchasing a solo skiff soon(thanks to your ICast footage of one), they handle up to a 5 hp motor but wow is yours loud! Is that normal? I'm not too familiar with small outboards...
I want one of these... I hope you do collaboration with the big bass people so their subscribers find out and subscribe to your channel, I think you deserve to have over 200,000 by now. Keep up the awesome work
cool little motor and it's four stroke, a gallon of gas will go a long way. btw the kill switch for the motor is on the end of the throttle handle so you don't have to pull the lanyard cord off each time.
Hey Marty, my aunt and uncle own a business in clearwater that could make some tee shirts for you. They have been in business for a while and are pretty great at what they do. They have people that could make some cool logos and designs. I personally have drawers full of their shirts that I wear all the time. It could bring some extra income to get that boat out on the water! They LOVE to fish just like you (well maybe not as much as you haha).
I dont think i will ever own a any kinda boat. Im on a fixed income so no buying anything. thats why i love watching your videos. thanks for the shows....
Thinking about buying one and am wondering about some online reviews and complaints about the two sections not being sealed together and if the craft takes on water the closed cell foam blocks inside suck the water up like a sponge. Have you had any problems with yours? Why isn't it sealed from the factory? Did you seal yours up and if so how did you do it?
Hey man, can you tell me how's that 5hp working out for you? I almost purchased a 5hp Honda today and the weight was 60.6 pounds. I wasn't sure if I should exceed manufacturers specifications by almost double.
Ron Hogan I did get a 5hp. It was too powerful I was really worried the transom would eventually crack. Steering wasn’t all that good either. Probably needed a rudder our front, but that’s too much of a pain to fabricated something that will work in connection with the motor when you turn it. Either that or you need an extension for the throttle arm and even then you’ll need to drive with two hands or two people. Nahh, I sold the motor and stuck with the 50pound thrust. So much simpler and at those speeds, control isn’t an issue at all.
best small boat out there. I just posted a vid of me and my dog bass fishing from my 10e. I've been fishing out of it for 3 years, if you have any questions on mounting headlights, mounting a fish finder without screws or rivets, or diy flooring that lasts let me know.
I kinda like the haul slap sound. it's peaceful because it always reminds me that im in a good place whenever i hear it. always having a good time when im on a boat.
I can dig that.
I swear your videos are the most chill videos EVER.
...I like that sound, bloop-bloop, blop-bloop-bloop ...with the wind and the other sounds out on the water. I am really pleased to see that nobody is adding a stereo as a modification.
Keep it up Marty! Love coming home from work to find you've posted a new video,
Thanks for the new video. I enjoyed seeing the stars and daybreak at the beginning.
I like that your videos are well excuted (at least to me) that they entertain me and I learn stuff
Good job!! I enjoyed your video thank you. I'm picking mine up tomorrow from Colorado springs.
Cool rig Marty! I can't wait to see what you come up with to customize it.
dang marty, good luck man. you know we're all rooting for you. lemme know when I can come round for a house visit!
I was worried you retired. glad to see you back in action can't wait to see more.
Thanks for the review and as always love your videos it really did help me decide what to replace my kayak with
wow thanx...always nice to go with you fishing...
I had one of the pond prowler bass pro boat just like this and loved it fished tampa flats with it for awhile
I like it. Looks pretty stable and the 5hp motor is good enough for a lake.
Awesome mod with the umbrella, honestly have never seen that before and i was quite impressed with it! And I second all of these other comments, more boat updates man! We wanna see the dream in action!
Love your videos keep up the good work
Your videos are the best!
Good for you & your success. i love the DIY projects & the fishing too. God bless & Sláinte
I understand a man has to do what he has to do to make it in this world but when I get a notification that a Zoffinger video is up I am not confident I'll see fishing. I miss the old red yak and the fishing!
Most of the fishing channels are now mostly just ads for sponsors products.
Happilyretiredmark remember that he's doing what a lot of people want to see
love your video keep them coming.
Great Looking Ride Marty!!! Thumbs Up!!!:)
nice DIY idea Marty...
Haha I knew that's where that engine was going to go to nice video Marty!
I like it! Efficient and fun. Thumbs up.
what a great shore boat for your big boat.
hey Marty, really love your vids. i live right in the little manatee in ruskin. let let me know and one of these days we'll drop my Carolina skiff in the water and catch some snook!
cool nice little boat
Nice work
keep up the great work
Nice videos I love them 😁
So close too 100k!!
That looks like a nice alternative to kayaking.
you should make another video on the Bass Raider 10E
Love your videos I do a lot of fishing just like u
Keep it up Marty!
Great videos! I look forward to you DYIs. Who are you teaming up with to bass fish?
Good to see you, to hot to fish in central Fl, our water is 92 -95 in the shallows, what's it like in Tpa Bay?
how about an update on your boat
Soon.
Lol. Marty never lets any info out does he?
Great video. I was looking at a Sun Dolphin also but the reviews are much better on this model. How many HPs in that motor?
Do more videos on your Jon boat or this boat there pretty cool and keep up the good work
I have an older Pelecan, n , it does it's job.
Marty, can u do a little more to this boat . And show how u did the lights and any new mods
yay, another vid!
Love it !!
When's the next boat update
the plank of plywood's a fantastic idea....
I'm looking at purchasing a solo skiff soon(thanks to your ICast footage of one), they handle up to a 5 hp motor but wow is yours loud! Is that normal? I'm not too familiar with small outboards...
they do have a full stand height umbrella top that goes full length for em
just a quick tip Marty, instead of pulling the emergency stop bracelet you can push down the red button and the motor will stop running.
You aught to come up to Indiana and catch some Bass on that thing!!
wow, new toy huh Marty (y) great :-)
I want one of these... I hope you do collaboration with the big bass people so their subscribers find out and subscribe to your channel, I think you deserve to have over 200,000 by now. Keep up the awesome work
It would be cool to see you do a sprinter van conversion to a cozy, mobile home. Just an Idea though. Great vids btw
Im not sure on the coleman but on must outboards with a kill switch conecting to the button, you don't need to pull it just push the button
Happy brother ..
cool little motor and it's four stroke, a gallon of gas will go a long way. btw the kill switch for the motor is on the end of the throttle handle so you don't have to pull the lanyard cord off each time.
That's what we did on our boat !!!! Umbrellas on both ends !!!!!
What length shaft are you using on your outboard short or long shaft?
Marty. Can I suggest something? Why don't you put the little small 6in. light pods on the front of it
Nice boat. Now I'm just waiting for you to fabricate a Bimini top for it...
Yep... a troll motor is all that rig needs!
Next you gotta see if you can pull a skier! :)
I might need more than a 5hp motor ;^)
Hey Marty, do you think a 6 hp would be too much motor for my Bass Raider? It's an older 2 stroke design so the weight is only 40 ish pounds.
Umbrella mod, great idea. I'd do the same.
Ahh Coleman...the tent people!

You can turn the motor off of pushing the red kill switch button you don't have to keep pulling the kill switch cord
I dont think i will ever own a any kinda boat. Im on a fixed income so no buying anything. thats why i love watching your videos. thanks for the shows....
Marty could u do a video driving the big boat
bad ass I'm buying one
Where did you get the lights on the front from
Thinking about buying one and am wondering about some online reviews and complaints about the two sections not being sealed together and if the craft takes on water the closed cell foam blocks inside suck the water up like a sponge. Have you had any problems with yours? Why isn't it sealed from the factory? Did you seal yours up and if so how did you do it?
I'm wondering the same thing. I've been reading comments that the Pelican has that exact leaking issue.
Hey man, can you tell me how's that 5hp working out for you? I almost purchased a 5hp Honda today and the weight was 60.6 pounds. I wasn't sure if I should exceed manufacturers specifications by almost double.
I was thinking the same thing. Did you ever get one for the Bass Raider vs. a 2.5 hp?
Ron Hogan I did get a 5hp. It was too powerful I was really worried the transom would eventually crack. Steering wasn’t all that good either. Probably needed a rudder our front, but that’s too much of a pain to fabricated something that will work in connection with the motor when you turn it. @@wackpackxj I got the 3.5 hp. Not fast, about 5mph, but gets you out there ad a backup to the trolling motor.
@@wackpackxj I think it would not be so bad if you were easy on the throttle
Marty, love your vids, but I have a question... Does filming ever get it the way of the fishing? Lines tight brother!
It does. But it can as fun as catching a fish (to me) to get a nice shot on camera and turn it into a nice video.
+zoffinger Couldn't agree more! Just hope your not losing the big ones ;) Thanks for responding to your fans too! Staying humble and I love it
If I saw that out on the water with the umbrella up I would start singing the national anthem. merca
How many kayaks/ small boats like the bass raider?
hey marty nice video what rod and reel combo is that?
The rod was a Matzuo 6'6" medium spinning with the el cheapo reel that comes with it.
Marty, where can we send you packages? I'd like to send some lures for you to test that my business and I make.
hi there , what kind of motor do you use , thanks
How is the stability in rougher seas? Say 5-7mph winds
It looks real peaceful their, I didn't even see one ufo in the sky 👽
how much for the motor? thank you for sharing
Can that boat fit 2 people comfortably?
Great video, but the Bass Raider is rated for a outboard motor (maximum 3.5 horsepower)!
Where did you buy the motor?
Where did you get the motor
nice
How fast do you think it gets with that motor?
How's the boat doing pls make a update vid for it
Also you should watch gonewiththewynns they just bought a catamaran and doing what you said you were wanting to do
I would like to see a steering setup instead of the handle on the motor. i think that would be cool.
does anyone know which GoPro model he uses?
Whats full speed on this boat?
best small boat out there. I just posted a vid of me and my dog bass fishing from my 10e. I've been fishing out of it for 3 years, if you have any questions on mounting headlights, mounting a fish finder without screws or rivets, or diy flooring that lasts let me know.
Do you have a link?
Scotty rod mount in a Coleman and pelican sponsor vid
You could rig a short steering stick up that probably wont be in the way. Of course that might take away from the simplicity.
How much horsepower is the engine
what outboard motor is that and where can I buy one? I have the same boat but need a motor
Did you ever get the Coleman 5 hp? How has it held up with that boat?
please... do a boat update!
How long did it take u to get sponsored by Pelican
I probably had a few million views on my channel. However long that took...A few years maybe.
Hey do you still have this boat?
