And I do think that city and lfc pushed each other a lot. If city weren't here, I don't think lfc would've been elevated to the levels they were. It'd be a little more competitive but that's just my viewpoint.
Also lastly lfc winning would probably be annoying to many so I don't think it'd be boring 😅 it'd be an entirely different emotion. There'd still be complaints but probably not ones related to boredom.

No, if City had conceded that penalty and lost at Anfield they would only be 1 point less. They won by 2 points.. simple maths mate, but yes I agree it was a stone wall penalty. Equally if Liverpool had got the penalty for Odegaard handball at Anfield Arsenal probably would have lost that game too.
I think it's Liverpool that should feel most aggrieved because that's an additional 4 points for them if they got those decisions, and minus 1 point for each of Arsenal and City. Add into that fact the Liverpool/Tottenham game where Liverpool arguably would have won that game or at least picked up a point had it not been for VAR's incompetence.

What people dont understand is that yes United and Chelsea have spent 1 billion and fluffed it. But they both had teams that needed complete restructures.
Pep spent 1 billion after inheriting the best squad in the league. He had a spine of Kompany, KDB, Silva and Aguero with good players around them.
Essentially what im saying is there's a difference between spending 1 billion on a team say the quality of West Ham/Brighton and spending 1 billion on top of already the best team in the league.
If anything, i think Pep has underachieved by winning only 1 UCL in a period where Bayern, Barca, Madrid and Juventus are not at the peak of their powers.

People think klopp leaving is the end of liverpool, it wasn’t just klopp that was crucial, yeah he made the difference but he only made the difference by 3 places, michael edwards got VVD, robbo, salah, and mane, and alisson. After he left klopp got nunez and diaz who aren’t good enough, we won’t be as good without klopp but we still have a structure, its not like utd when SAF left and they had no one in the structure to sort things out. Its the same with pep, pep doesn’t make a difference to city because you put in someone like nagelsmann who is not as good. he still dominates with city easily because of unholy amounts of money and the best structure in place

The reason why the premier league is boring is because you guys think possession is the only tactic in football. Five teams in the prem have the same tactic which is Man City's tactic. The premier league was the best in 2018-2022 because every team in the league had their own identity and style of play. This is also why your teams don't win in Europe because they fail to compromise other teams' tactics.
