Or 1991 beating Barcelona in a European cup final in the very first year English clubs where allowed to play in Europe and English football was light years away from European teams back then. Ask Alex Kral how much of a gentleman he is, or ANY of our youth players over the last 4 years. (And before you say it, no he didn’t bring through Dec, Pellegrini did). It’s easy to come across one way when you’re in a room full of friends. I’m curious as to how you think “West Ham” have treated him; he was the 4th longest tenured manager in the PL throughout his 2nd stint w us. He wasn’t sacked, his contract didn’t get renewed. (ik you didn’t say he got sacked or anything but it’s a common thing people like to say that’s just not true). Speak to most WH fans and they’ll tell you that they’re grateful for his time but it was time to move on. It’s arguable that he left the club in a worse state than when he came back after Pellegrini, but he’s definitely raised our profile across Europe. Anyways, what I’m trying to get at is don’t buy into every narrative the media outlets put out, talk to the fans and see if it’s true before making blanket statements filled with blame toward us.

I am a Liverpool fan but I have always liked David Moyes. Such a nice fella, good manager too. West Ham need to have a long hard look at themselves!!!

David's first appointment in management was with Preston North End when it had nearly had gone bust and it was saved by Trevor Hemmings. Trevor was a good businessman but very tight... David learned how to deal for players with no money.

One of, if not the best episode of TRIF. Thought Moyes was a great listen, answered all the questions really well and was funny into the bargain.

Watching Moyes practically sprinting down the touch line after winning the conference league will stay with me forever. An awesome moment for us West Ham fans. However, the football we’ve watched for the last two years was almost insufferable. It’s not wanting more than we deserve, it just wanting something you can fully get behind without our eyes bleeding. Hearing that he and others still don’t get that basic idea is disappointing. I’ve too much respect for a man of Moyes years to say anything nasty. Wish him all the best.

Proper manager, David Moyes. Would love to have him at Elland Road at some point. Think Leeds and Moyes would be a good fit.
