Steve - Try and get Ole Solskjaer on! I would love to hear his story. Great podcast as always 😁
Done ⚒️⚒️⚒️
Great watch. Just seen a video on Thomas Tuchel on Sitaram. He’d be the best guest.
I love that you have guests that aren't just there to sell something, you actually have guests who want to tell their story
His autobiography is released in March
Agree
@@etiennebunbury1285 was this mentioned?
Sell their story you mean
A lot of time they have a book coming out, but I agree it feels like much more than a promo. It gives you a real insight into their early life, you get to know them a lot better and thus more likely to buy the book
Glad you finally got your well deserved medal Moyes! Enjoyed having you at Everton
I’m an Everton fan and moyes done a great job for us not always appreciated, since this interview he finally got his reward for years of dedication by winning europa cup, I watched it and have to admit was a bit emotional given his history with us, I punched the air at the final whistle and shouted “go on davey” 😂 I was genuinely made up for him, he’s a good man and deserves any success he gets.
Great interview,Mr Moyes is the last of the great “old school”Managers and I’m proud of his 3yrs at WHU.his leadership is solid, honest but humble without ego(in a time where everyone has a opinion!)I hope he can help WHU to consistent tradition before he hands it over to the next….COYI⚒️
David Moyes is one of the nicest and most hard working managers in football. What a great human being. Got so much unnecessary stick after Man United sacked him. He deserves so much respect!
...............
This is what makes me so gutted it's all gone to you-know-what at my club. If we didn't have the puffed-up hoopla of the EPL and this crazy addiction to CL football, this wouldn't be a problem. Sadly, most fans pay a huge amount of money to watch West Ham and when we see sub-standard football for over a year, not just months, and with some of us not even being to afford to heat our houses, it makes us say things in desperation. I love the guy and I am devastated it's turned out like this. I'd be happy to see him as a director of the club because his football knowledge is incredible, but he isn't a top coach. If only he had top quality coaches working with him, but he hasn't. They are all terrible, yes, including Nevin, who along with Southgate has held England back. I'm very happy about that as I support Germany, but Nevin is helping to destroy the good players we have.

I have attempted to meditate many times in my life and prior to this CD the only success I've experienced is with live guided meditation. czcams.com/users/postUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq This is the first CD I've used that cuts through my unmedicated ADHD and enables me to truly relax and experience a quiet and energizing interval. The instructors voice is very soothing and pleasant to listen to. I am easily able to sit successfully through the entire CD, and for quite some time after. I cannot adequately express how tremendously helpful this CD has been on my spiritual journey!! Two thumbs up and 10 stars!
As a West Ham fan and a fan of this podcast I can confidently say that I never thought the two would cross paths! Great stuff!
Lingard on the next podcast too...
Been mad good content on here recently for West Ham related stuff hasn’t it 😂
What you're doing Stephen is incredible! The interview, the aesthetic, the editing its brilliant to watch what you're building! The hyper growth you've seen over this last short period of time has been so justified! Keep up the great work!
The meat riding is crazy
Ill never forget when Moyes took the united job - about a week or two before season start, him and his dad came into my old place of work (it was my first job, i was a waiter) but i remember feeling start struck as they came in, being a united fan. But got chatting and all i can say is him and his dad are the most polite and genuine people - god bless you both!
As a United fan, regardless how things turnt out with David I have always admired and respected him and what he has done, this interview has totally reinforced the respect!
I have a huge amount of time for David Moyes. Massively underrated manager. Seems like a genuinely good guy.
Thanks for having the manager of my team on Steven. Shall always support David Moyes as he's an excellent manager.
David Moyes is both a top man and top manager. An excellent interview and a very good podcast generally.
"It's Moyesy again" 🤣🤣🤣 oi that will never get old...this interview was unexpected but is appreciated
No way you made this happen mid season...this channel is so elite
Now ive watched the full podcast, theres so many questions i would love to ask. As an ex everton manager, he would have known fellani had a buy out clause that expired on a specific day (back in 2013). Why did the club submit a bid AFTER the buyout clause expired? Also, david got rid of experienced playing staff to bring in his own men, who have not won anything between them...Was unfortunate to lose his job after so little time, but the football was poor, results were poor and the transfer activity was a shambles.
This was a brilliant watch though.
..............
The transfer activity wasn't fuck all to do with Moyes...
@David G yeh true, but the part where i mentioned fellanis buy out clause, he would of known that, thats part of the transfer activity im on about. 95% was down to woodward
@@JayB_Cnt that would also come down to Woodward being disorganised, most likely
@Dominic Hoad yes 100%, but the buy-out clause is 100% on moyes due to him managing fellani
A very honest and revealing interview with David Moyes . It still hurts over his sacking at Manchester United . He comes across as a very likeable man , and hopefully he can achieve good things for West Ham .
As a spurs fan i gotta say David Moyes is one top bloke
Genuine and humble
Premier league legend 🙌 👏
Agree
A humble request from one Manchester United fan to another. Please try and get sir Alex Ferguson on your podcast. I am sure that a lot of your viewers would want to go deep inside the mind of the man who made our football club so successful and special.
Working on it!

@@TheDiaryOfACEO I'm so happy you're a Utd fan - I can definitely see the Utd DNA in your personality and career. Looking forward to the SAF pod!
@@hussainsyed2089 then he is a sworn enemy .I am a gunner in and out🤣😂😄😅
Wow Sir Alex would be out of this world 😮
Listening to David Moyes speak about his time at Man Utd and the manner in which he was sacked resonates in my own life with experiences I have had in corporate after literally giving my all for companies. The emotional scars take long to heal, and I really wish that more leaders can learn as David said that there are better ways of communicating with people when difficult decisions are to be made. I have also been in the position where I am the one who have had to make the tough decisions but I have always made every effort to do it in as dignified a manner as possible. As a life-long Man Utd fan I did feel he was out of his depth but supported him while he was there and felt that he was treated harshly by the board in the end.
Was fascinating to finally hear David's side of the united story and his personal views and beliefs after all these years as a United fan. Grew up watching him on the telly and he's truly an underrated manager. Hope he can turn it around at West ham.
Great interview. As a season ticket holder at Everton throughout Moyes' years I have many happy memories. He brought in some brilliant players with the right team spirit, under financial constraints. 'He's got red hair but we don't care - Davey Davey Moyes!'
I grew up with Davy Moyes till we were 12. I've never met a guy with a love of football & more enthusiasm than him. 200% dedication to the game from a wee boy. Great guy too! He never mentions his Thornwood childhood and his pals & Bb he was in. Actually denied knowing a couple of people that knew him when they met. Mystery why that is.
I really like David Moyes. He comes across as a very honest, decent and genuine man! Loved this interview. Thank you
Thanks you for doing this interview. I have huge respect for David. What he and other British managers have achieved, at the highest level, is very inspiring.
What a fabulous interview! The first thing that resonated with me, and early into the conversation, was this man has high morals and standards that he lives by every day, instilled from an early age. So pleased you were able to talk to him, thank you
Another terrific interview, being an Evertonian good to hear David Moyes tell his story.
David Moyes what a fantastic story of how his passion for football took him from the tenements of Glasgow to football management success🙌. This David Moyes interview, his honesty and straight talk was refreshing and outstanding.🙌 I loved DM' level of humility and candour despite his 3 decades of football management/longevity and success🙏. He's open to learning and evolving that is how great leaders continue to grow🙌. That is how all good leaders go from being good to being great managers. Stephen' great questions as always drawing out the best responses and insights👍
You never fail to brighten up a monday Steven ! Absolutely love what you and the team are doing!
Incredible. I see David in such a different light after this. What a top guy.
As a Hammers supporter not only is it actually an honour to be one no matter where we are on the table or what league we partake in, David Moyes has built a wonderful reputation over the years and although we are not playing our best football right now it’s no doubt the graft that David Moyes is putting in no matter what is worth the world of respect and gratitude ….. What a gentleman and it’s a pleasure to have him as the Manager of West Ham United …. ⚒️
As my tattoo for WHU & my 93 year old father who boxed for West Ham in his early days (he still thinks he’s in his 30’s) and is WEST HAM TILL HE DIES …
suflă mereu bule …. ⚒️
Thank you for this wonderful interview and hopefully we will have our manager with us for the foreseeable … ⚒️⚒️🫧🫧♥️♥️⚡️⚡️
Could listen to Moyes all day
What gentleman David is
He needs to get sacked though

LOL Who you getting to replace him? Why wouldnt you give it till end of the season? (obviously unless your odds on to get relegated) you were in a European semi final the other year, crazy to think like that esp if he can sort it out and start fresh next season from scratch and see where you get.
Remember arsenal fans wanted Arteta out also and look at Arsenal now honestly fans are so fickle

I mean this is just brilliant, as an Arsenal fan, I have always liked David Moyes, but have never had the opportunity to hear him open up like this, loved it!
I've always had respect for Moyesey. The job he did at Everton was nothing short of remarkable and the team he built there with the rock solid defence and great going forward too he had the balance of that team to perfection and maintained it for a long time. I think if Manure gave him 3-4 years to really put his stamp on them and build something he would have been a success.
Always deserves to be considered the finest Everton manager of modern times
The way you engage with your guests is so unique and interesting, you really go about it in such a different way to most, getting real truthful and in-depth conversation and personality out of them, there is nothing close to how well you do this from what I’ve seen from other people, you must have a real interest in psychology, it’s too notch, 👍
Great manager, better man, and a wealth of knowledge and experience that needs to be passed on. Nice to see him in such and relaxed and none football environment. TY
Love the variety of interviews you do with people in different walks of life

We're in a sticky situation in the moment and I can't see any imminent change. But Moyes speaks so well, he is someone I WANT to be the manager of my club. It was great to hear him talk for so long. Please Moyes, put what you're thinking into practice and let's get it to click ❤❤❤⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒
This interview shows Moyes in a very good light . Fair play to Moyes going on the podcast a lot of managers try to avoid the media but fair play to him going on.
Man's a beast 😊. Top class lad with top class guests. Much love from Canada.
What a thoroughly decent man David Moyes appears to be. In life you don’t always get what you deserve but David certainly deserves to do well. I think after this interview he went on to lift a European trophy with West Ham and I watched his dad come onto the pitch at the end of the game which was quite an emotional scene to see. A great memory for them both.
Legendary for bringing on interesting people each episode.

These podcasts are fuc*ing astounding. The guests, the questions the video quality is all top notch. Genuinely don’t know anything better at the moment.
His interviews are always brilliant whoever he is interviewing. Great questions and let's them answer without interrupting. 👏
Congratulation David on your achievement of winning the uecl
Put his management career aside. This man is a real winner in life. The way he loves his wife and children is amazing. More power to you David. Love ur testimony 🤛🏾💪🏾
Being Scottish I am so glad David got his trophy totally deserved hope he stays at West Ham for years to come
I am not a big football fan but after visiting Glasgow for the first time last September I am a fan of the people from there and as an American I really like the accent and mentality. Never heard of this guy before but he seems like a good guy.
I loved this episode. It's very unusual to get such a deep insight and in-depth interview from a football manager. Thanks for this!
As a West Ham fan and one who has had my grievances with how Moyes has done things recently (and the board), I feel like I understand him a lot more after this, and respect to him.
I like Moyes. And I loved it when West Ham won the trophy this year.
Hes doing well at West Ham, hope can keep going
Great Podcast. Looking forward to hearing from Jose Mourinho on this Podcast

I agree, would love to have seen him at Utd for a longer period. Lovely guy and a great podcast!

What a gentleman really enjoyed listening to David Moyes thank you Steven great interview.
Superb interview. David Moyes came across as a very intelligent, thoughtful man...without doubt values-driven and balanced. Stephen's questions were excellent in terms of gaining in-sight. Brilliant last question about David's wife. Not just focussed on what you need to do to be successful but giving a real sense of the person.
One of the more down to earth interview rather than intense characters with other guests. Deserve better for his role and recognition at Everton and well deserved to come back with building a success team at Westham and this is coming from a Arsenal Fan.
As you pondered what might be the cause of Man U’s challenges, it seemed clear to me, that it is the tone and intentions of the owners. That kind of thing just does not work any more. There needs to be some heart and feeling filtering down and up.
It’s a credit to the current manager and players, that they’ve created a strong unit. Very fun to see.
Thanks for the warm open hearted chat so we could hear his wisdom and experiences of his life so far.
Loved this one, didn’t expect to see David Moyes on, That’s the magic of this podcast though! David seems like a man you would love to have as your manager! Seems a good person and definitely one of the great British managers. Any manager was going to find it extremely difficult after Sir Alex.
Heart was in my mouth thinking Moyes was going to address the Wilfried Zaha and his daughter rumour with that last question! Another great interview, loving the football based guests recently.
Amazing interview, David Moyes is a giant in the game and it was great to hear his story. Well done Steven, I just subscribed to your great channel!
Would love to see more soon, maybe Arteta in the summer if Arsenal win the title 👀
Phenomenal! This is an incredible chat. Brilliant interview for his next roles! Shows just how clever this man is. Thanks for this.
congratulations steven - your channel is offically unstoppable force
Seen as though he's managed Everton and United I like Moyes. Says a lot about the fella
What a fantastic insight into one of the toughest jobs in football. It is refreshing to hear some honesty regarding professionals time at the top level.

Hi Steven,
As a liverpool fan i would love if you could bring Jurgen Klopp. I know liverpool is not in a good place right now but what he has done for our club and turned around the culture fascinated me.
Btw i love your podcasts and i have learned a lot by listening to them regularly. Thank you for your wonderful content and keep up the great work!
Thanks❤️
I am Man City fan but would love to see Juergen Klopp on here.
Thoroughly enjoyable chat. I liked how David mention values as you talked about a former CEO. Values are something that we can unite on.
I think sometimes as fans we do often tend to only look at the very top as being successful, but when put into perspective, given just how many managers and players really exist, just to manage in the Premier League and being able to play in a European competitions is a massive achievement for anyone
Professional footballers playing in League One & Two and even below have still achieved a whole lot when you look at the entire spectrum
Great interview. Very interesting indeed. Thank you very much. You are an open interviewer, excellent.
Great interview, balanced, open and honest. I am a fanatical Man U fan, it didn’t work out for Moyes for many reasons, I hope he can enjoy success at WHU

Fantastic interview again. Love this channel. Love to get on it
I love the way this conversations are done! Great respect for that!
And David Moyes - he still should be Man United manager. Manager, not couch! Great respect for him!
David Moyes is a good man and a very good football manager. As a Mancunian and a Utd fan since the 70s I'm embarrassed with the way the club treated him during his time at Old Trafford. Ed Woodward lacks the class and respect of his predecessor (David Gill) and should hang his little head in shame with the disgraceful way he treated David Moyes. A few of the seniors players also played their part and lacked the professionalism and maturity to get behind the new manager. If David Gill had been at the helm and Martin Edwards hadn't sold out to the Glazers then perhaps it would've been a different story.
Well done for creating another great episode!
A very open and honest interview not a Man U, West Ham or Everton fan, but like David Moyes and feel very sorry what happened to him at Man U and damaged what was a very good reputation
From a Liverpool fan, just wanted to say, David Moyes is a fantastic man with a brilliant character!

I always held David Moyes in high esteem. This interview demonstrates his integrity and strength of character, which unfortunately was not shown by Man United during his tenure or during future managerial reins at the club.

I am in Kenya and I love the channel. Big up guys.
Steve, I loved this interview with David Moyes. As a United fan, I am embarrassed the way that he was treated by the club with a total lack of respect. He rightly pointed out that following a dynasty like he did at United it was always going to be extremely difficult. On top of that the pressure put on him from the demanding fans made it 10 times more demanding. I understood his appointment as a successor to Sir Alex with both coming from the similar background and obviously Sir Alex had recommended that David Moyes was a logical successor with over 10 years experience at Everton - the problem was that we are a totally different animal. I think he knows that now. When we now look back and realise that Solskjaer, with absolutely no experience, got 3 years and even admitted that he did not do the coaching yet it took a series of horrendous defeats to force the hands of these owners who have as much knowledge of football management as my dog before they parted ways. David comes across as a thoroughly lovely guy who has dedicated his life to his love of everything football. Long may his love of football continue and respect to him that even after the disappointment at United he can still be truthful and say nice things about the club. As fans we only see what we want to see.
An interesting and insightful podcast. As a Sunderland fan, I would’ve loved to hear his perspective on his time up there as he had a horrendous season with a poor squad, which he then walked out on at the end of the season.
Hi Stephen great interview with David moyes,i am also a fellow Man Utd fan would love to see you interview the main man Alex.
