Well, I think I am here for the same reason as the rest of your subscribers, we are inspired by your ideas. I don’t utilize French cleats in my shop but it doesn’t mean that I can’t learn something about organization, creativity or just provide feedback. Excellent idea regarding the French Cleat Anything Bracket. In your YT video at approximately the 2:20 time mark you demonstrate the versatility of cleating an existing manufacturer's case. Did you notice the detents of the drivers were so tight that the attempt to remove the driver displaced the case from its cleated position? May I suggest replacing the curve leading the lower foot of the Anything Bracket with a right-angle corner to facilitate the insertion of a square "key" to lock the backet in place and prevent inadvertent displacement. Love your positive energy- keep up the great work.
That’s a pretty good idea. Definitely going to take that into consideration. However, if you put straight out it stays in place really well.

Chris, I bought a couple of your tool holders last year and ended up making a bunch of them. For my brother. My son in law. Then, I found they work very well for weed eaters, pole saws, garden tools. So they are all over my shop, and garage. Love them. Thanks for sharing

Chris I have been struggling to figure out a solution for manufactured small parts organizers. I purchased a few sets of the briefcase size bin holding pack out style cases. I feel like a set of slim shelves would work, but am not sure where to put them. I was wondering if you had ever thought about a product for storing those. A set of cleat brackets that catch multiple runners, and handled like a set of 4 or so. Not sure if that would be something your customers would be interested in.

Watching you for many reasons like others said. I would still love to see a project video here and there. One in twenty or whenever it happens. I can stand many videos between that are the sort that the platform and trends lead creators to pump out. You really don’t do many of those and are always genuine. But yeah… make a box or a thing once every 3 months and I’m here forever.
Personally chris I absolutely love all the products you have and literally have almost all of your awesome innovative tool holder mounts and jigs you sell! My favorite to date is the orbital sander mount and I use it almost every day! I screw mine to the wall when not in use but I think if you can incorporate a French cleat to that it would make an awesome tool even better! I’m gonna have to go buy some of the cleats on your store and play around with it! Great work as always Chris!

What about a drink holder? You have made tool holders and a lot of makers drink coffee or soda. I drink a lot of water and a water bottle holder or something for my big mug or thermos might be something that other could find handy in the shop. Just a thought.

But saying that saw yours pop up so to stop that you might look at Specific Love Creations french cleat locks they've kept me from dumping stuff in the floor. This is just a thought I had seen that might help.

Pretty cool that those are going out with every order now. My shop is in my basement and I compete with my son’s online business, the Christmas decorations, lawn stuff and a handful of other stuff for the non-poured concrete wall space. I’m very quickly out of useable wall space! Might have to rethink the setup down there to see how to free some space up so I can expand my french cleat area! Keep up the good work!

I like the new side brackets. My idea was to use them to mount my router bit storage case. It's currently in a drawer, on the router bench. Can we get them with raw edges, rather than the brown stain? Thanks

These are awesome. Some ideas: The magnetic tool strip is something I plan in my shop. You had one next to where the bit box was hung. I would be interested in that. It would be easy to just slap my strips on and be done. Also something that holds a few dewalt batteries would be helpful.
Yeah, those are handy access to the video about those years ago, but the cost of magnets has gone up exponentially over the past few years
Very good idea and saves lots of wood. Very inventive you will do well with this idea. I'm just wondering I don't know myself if it would work but can a channel be put in these so they can be moved up or down for a person's convenience or would a series of holes work for more stable hold or would it be a bad idea. I think if it worked at all it should only be for the lighter tools that would not put too much weight on the area holding it. I'm not trying to be funny I don't know enough myself so I'm just asking for your experience and advice please and thanks for showing your great idea and knowledge

I would say properly glued, 25 or 30 pounds. Although I haven’t scientifically proven it, it’s just what it feels like, but honestly probably more.
I think it would be a good idea if you started selling the files for some of the things you design for laser engravers or cnc users. There is a huge market for files like that.

To use the brackets what size cleats do you need. Putting up one in my garage very soon and the brackets seem like a good idea and easy to adapt somethings I've already got.
The opening is 3 inches so the height of the Clit if it’s less than that you’re good also, the typically made it to 3/4 of an inch in thickness. However, if you have half inch thickness diesel still work thanks for the interest brother.

I use the Milwaukee M12 system. As you probably know, the batteries are tubular shaped and fit flush in the handles. Do you have any solutions for these?
Store them right side up or if you have upgraded battery packs that are able to pretend to be a typical battery shape does method seem to work but no I haven’t designed anything specifically for that tool as of yet

Just a thought: could you make the holes to screw stuff spaced out like predrilled pilot holes? I don’t know how much work, money, laser time would go into it.
The holes are laser cut out as if they are pilot holes. It’s not just a reference circle. It’s actually a legitimate hole.

Are the French cleat brackets designed for cleats 3/4" or 1/2" thick, or does it matter?
My brackets are designed for 3/4 of an inch and they will definitely work with half inch or even a quarter inch if that’s what you got

I cut my 3/4 inch stuff on the cnc, even half inch on the CNC anything below that thickness goes on the laser

QUESTION:…On the web site these clearly say 3” (max) opening for the cleat….What about the bigger brackets?? Are they also for 3” cleats? I’m referring to the 8 pack of brackets….they look bigger.
They are bigger there’s a little over a 4 inch gap in those.

They name tool hanging systems for drills now that are about $20. Holds 4 drills, with 2 shelves for batteries and chargers. Cheaper than making them
