Currently its 3:00 AM and I’m in my detached garage decluttering/organizing with the garage doors open and watching this for motivation and ideas. The daughter’s voice startled me. Had to rewind the video three times to verify the voice did indeed come from the video.

In these joyless Covid days, a channel like “A Glimpse Inside” dispels the gloom and reminds me of why we are here on Earth. I positively thank Stumpy Nubs for sending me here. That wide smile and grasp of human nature, makes these minutes more than worthwhile. Woodworking brings joy…as it should. A good friend once said he can see the smile of God in a nice piece of wood. I concur.

What a beautiful little Princess! 🌻💜🌻
Yesterday I had a perfect birthday. The weather was great, and I spent all afternoon in the garden with my neighbor, Rasmus, age 8 (51 years younger than me), and we had some great "sword" fights, using the bamboos we cut, ("learn, work 'n play" 😉) and like always "just" hanging out and having a great time together with my cats, the dog, and my pet hen, Bertha.
My animals love him too 💜
Rasmus has an Asberger Diagnose, and ADHD, and he is going to school, but in an amazing special school where each kid has its own classroom, and lots of outdoor space, and his own teacher. (Free education, like here in Denmark, is not a bad thing!)
He and I also speak more and more English together while playing.
He is a fast learner .. when something that has his interest!! 😉
One of the many, many amazing things about children, like the little Princess here, is that they show you ways to think outside the box, and how to put things together in a new way.
Some ideas work, others don't. But it's absolutely fine. Many new things was "by accident" and by keeping an open and creative mind, that's how we keep our brain exercised and fit!
We all know; boxes are fine and don't need to be square to sure their purposes best,
but thoughts don't thrive inside boxes, and neither do children! 🙃💜 😘
Thank you, dad, thank you so much for inspiring us and giving us a Glimpse Inside 💜

Dual lock fastener tape is the answer. It's the the industrial strength, Velcro-type of tape that doesn't use a fuzzy side. Instead, both sides of the fastener uses the rigid hook and loop fastener. That way you can reliably mount the chargers, but remove or reposition the charger(s) if necessary.
Also, nails or wooden dowels for the cable management... I love those screws as well, they have really sharp cutting edges and drive into wood like butter. But that also means they can cut into the power cords even easier when you accidentally pull on a cable.

Your daughter is a treasure. Permission granted to have her on whenever you and she likes!
...and I might like to purchase a few of those holders. Cheaper than a CNC!
Wonderful holder for your tools! I will build one as soon as I put up some more walls/studs in my basement shop. I did pick up some of those awesome battery holders for the shop. Thank you sir!!!!

On your keyholes on chargers, I took my bottoms off, to not hit electronic boards, and put a keyhole in with my router but in my drill. Put it back together and I was happy

Leather strap. Screws on each end to hold in the chargers. Looks very cool

We'll we use nails yes, but they do have strong tie building structural screws that act like nails with the hold of a screw, which makes them expensive but great when you want the best of both

You are way more patient with your daughter than my father was with me. He was like there it is "get it done" Maybe that's why I'm 52 now and have no kids lol Neither does my wife. Also, I went with the PVC tube method. Just seemed easier for me. I can pull it out and put it in all while keeping my grip... and the bit in. But that only works with my 8 drill/drivers. My other stuff is just tossed about lol. But I do 99% metal working. I looked into hanging my pneumatics like you did. So I bought a few. Lasted about 2 days. I get in a hurry and those things were not flexible at ALL. Ended up ripping them off by accident. So now I am looking at those slide in cnc cut metal hangers. Love the Lazy susan. Must be nice focusing on one hobby. I go abit of everything so have crap tons of tools and storage.

When I want to mount chargers that don't have built-in keyholes, I take the bottom off and add my own keyholes. If you really need to use the strap hangers (like if the charger is glued together and you can't take the bottom off), you can cover the strap with heat-shrink tubing to make it look nicer (and protect the charger from the metal). Alternately, you can use a piece of black nylon webbing (take a 1" ratchet strap and cut it up into pieces), and screw it in with a washer behind the screw head.

Love the finishing touches and the sign. Also love to see your daughter in the shop. Mine is still too young, but I look forward to sharing it with her.

Thanks for sharing the design. Really like it. Think the kit of tool holder is a great idea. One suggestion would be to stain the tool holders OR the cabinet. Think the contrast between tool holder and cabinet would look awesome.
