Praying you guys stay safe today. Sounds like you’ll just get a bit wet, but those darn pine trees can be fickle in that wind! OPHS Class of ‘87
I am knee-deep in French Cleats right now - and I love them!
Oh man, that clip with the top was brilliant!
Thanks so much man!!
I like that tool charger mount, would go just dandy boo with the cord hider. Could punch a few holes through the hider piece and.. yeah. The endless possibilities of this simple system.
Yes it so versatile
Very nice solution to hide the cords.
The idea is cool, effective, efficient.
Real simple and cool all in one go. Nice one.
Yep, expecting to see the little princess. Great idea my friend.
Cables have become the bane of my shop. They are everywhere! I needed this
Well Donovan, I hope this will give you some ideas my friend
I love how you keep coming up with more cool version!
Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
Simple and yet very effective. Great idea Chris.
Thank you brother I hope you and your family are doing well my friend
@@AGlimpseInside We are doing great. I hope your family is doing the same.
Awesome video as always, Chris! I love the unique ways you use them to solve problems!
Thanks brother I appreciate that. The ideas are out there you just got a grab them out of thin air sometimes you know
Looks really cool dude.
Very clever and cool idea great job 👏 Chris
Thanks brother I hope you’re doing well
Really nice. Thanks for a fantastic video.
Very nicely done. Awesome video
Very clever! Adding this one to the bag of tricks. :-)
Pretty interesting idea, dude! 😃
Thanks a lot!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Great idea. Keep up the great work
The cleat master!
Excellent design.
I have glued myself the my project a few times. Next time try rotating your finger next time. I have gotten loose that way in the past. Hope it helps man. Great video as well brother!!
That sideways trick sounds pretty useful brother. Thank you so much
@@AGlimpseInside its good for the times when you cant carry your project to get acetone...lol
Another AMAZING idea! Thanks bud.
I'll guess I will be making some later to cover that pvc power line of my wall.👍
Dress right dress Brother👍 Great Job!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Brilliant idea!!!
Man, you come up with the best idea!
Great job brother! Keep on coming up with these awesome French cleat ideas and I’m gonna need a new notebook! Lol! Nice work man!
practical indeed thanks
Nice idea, thanks Chris
Thanks David
I'm definitely making some of those. I don't like having cords hanging everywhere.
I am new to your channel, great idea, I love it!
Love it. Simple and effective
Excellent Video, dude
Hey Chris how about putting all of your "Cleat" videos in a single Playlist so they are easier to find on CZcams?
Awesome Idea & Thanks For Sharing Your Work With Us Chris, Always Look Forward To Your Uploads, Stay Safe Buddy.
Nice,,y
Thanks for sharing
enjoyed this video
Hey Chris,
First and most important...Miss the Kid Crew.
Next the teespring link above is a error according to them.
Lastly, I'm going to try this cleat idea next weekend. Got a barrel full of end cuts the right size for it. But I was wondering about how you feel about this. This idea is great for vertical cables, but what about horizontal?
While watching I was thinking, bad idea there, what about finding a row of wall cleats and routering out a channel across the entire bottom, about 1/2 to 1 inch up from the bottom? Then with Velcro styled cable ties stapled to the outside edge you could feed the cable inside the channel and wrap the cable tie around it to keep it in place?
BRING BACK THE KID CREW!
Great episode,
Love the Fam.
~Jim
Nice idea. Miss the kids.
great idea..
Congrats on 100k!
You are da bomb!
Chris I love you ideas on french cleats. So I say "HAIL CLEAT-US"
Sweet.
I also love the hanger you made for your squares. Is there a video for that one? I searched but didn't see one.
No I never did document that on video. I’m going to do some thing in the future to update but I’m just not sure exactly when
Im getting a similar building put up here in about 3 weeks.. How did you mount the plywood to the metal studs in your shop? I'm looking to make the same set up.
Are used to and a half inch self tapping screws to mount the studs to the metal frame
@@AGlimpseInside Thank Man! I found your channel about 6 months ago and have loved every bit of it. I have a 1 and 1/2 year old daughter and absolutely can't wait to spend some time in the shop with her. Keep up the good work!
Hi are you sir what insulate is safe in my one car garage ( spray foam)
Man who knew all these years I could have used c a glue to keep my wife quite. Wow lol🤣🤓
Oh my goodness brother you are too much. LOL
All i can say is that 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍lol
Nice! Cool film reference as well, but the big question..... do you think it stopped spinning? 🤔👍
I hope so it’s supposed to be my reality
@@AGlimpseInside good answer 👍😊
Just like on the family feud
Cool option. Only thing that I would have done differently is to have the 2nd cleats at the same level they would have been originally. This would make the cable even more hidden.
That’s a great idea too. If I were to match them up perfectly I completely agree
Agree with you that it needs to be perfectly alligned.
Is there an easy way to figure out how to set the table saw to cut cleats perfectly in half at 45 degrees?
I have a video about 10 to 12 videos ago called French cleat three different ways I describe the process in detail in that video brother
@@AGlimpseInside awesome sir thank you for all that you do for us makers
I am curious about the fans. You started with a window mounted air conditioner, then went to a mini split and now you are adding fans. Are you having trouble with climate control or is there another reason for the fans. I am building a 30x50 shop in Edgewater, FL with Eversafe which I also intend to spray foam, I just want to make sure there isn't a concept problem that I have not considered. I really appreciate all the inspiration you have given me. Thank you!
Not a problem at all I’m just installing them because I like the way they feel for one and also they help with air movement for dust collection. Kind of like even though it may be very comfortable in your bedroom when you’re sleeping you still like to have a fan on you. That kind of thing
@@AGlimpseInside Truly you have been an inspiration for me. When my building in erected and generally complete I will invite you down to look at it! If you ever decide to get into small boat building I will be able to return the love!
Good idea and well executed. BUT, me, I'd rather install a new outlet beside the fan and shorten the cord.
BTW.... Installing fans in November?! There might be something to this Global Warming theory.
BORING! I didn't subscribe to see you! Where's the kiddo's!? I'm teasing of course. Great video as usual.
Haha. I know right. Thanks brother
I purchased some excellent plans from the Woodprix website.
🍻🍺👍
No kids in the video !?!?!? That’s it...... unsubscribe! 🤣 When building model airplanes, a project just never feels right until I glue my fingers to the wing or fuselage a few times!
Go ahead and unsubscribe then LOL. If you started gluing your toes to the model airplanes I will begin to worry
Anything to do with electricity...yikes!
Yeah, I know it's just covers...but still.
Chris, Please Stop. you are killing me with your inception. I cant keep up with the builds. Now you come up with new ideas...
Why are they French? You built them they're Chris Cleats lol
Yeah man. Or Freedom cleats. 👍👍.
Is this the best you have....what a waste of 4 mins
Are you French?
I am about to become so
@@AGlimpseInside
Love your work man! Keep it up!
@@itsblowecuz Thank you sir
