She does not get the recognition she deserves. She is an outstanding performer. 👏👏

I am embarrassed to say that I am unfamiliar with this artist. She is absolutely amazing and this performance was spectacular. Thank you Stephen. Thank you Harri 🌺✌️

I saw the movie and this performance. She was amazing in both. I was disappointed she didn’t win. If you haven’t seen the movie, I highly recommend!

Cynthia is incredible. I don't know if you would do broadway song reactions, but I would recommend her performance of "I'm Here" from The Color Purple or the song "The Color Purple" which was performed on the Today Show.

I LOVE Cynthia Erivo. She's got such an awesome voice. I don't think she gets the recognition she deserves.

Harri you should see the movie Harriet, the story of Harriet Tubman. Cynthia Erivo played the lead character Harriet. Her acting was phenomenal. She should have received the Oscar and the movie should have received multiple awards. Go figure.

Great reaction Harri Last month I heard Cynthia do a one woman show from the Albert Hall on BBC Radio 3. if you have BBC Sounds you can still hear it. She was fantastic paying tribute ro voices such as Streisand: Shirley Bassey Gladys Knight etc etc It was so good Elaine Paige re ran it the next week on Sunday Night is Music Night on BBC Radio 2. it was broadcast as part of the Proms series that the BBC keeps going on its Sound app until 30 days after the last night and that is not until mid September. As soon as I heard "Cynthia sing I thought Harri would love this woman's singing. it is Prom 4 if anyone wishes to investigate this . Thank you

Cynthia played a major role in the movie, "Bad Times At The El Royale". She played a singer with the story taking place in 1969, so she showed off her terrific voice with the songs of that time. Many of her scenes had her singing a capella which really let her talent shine.
The movie is a who-done-it with twists and turns and an ensemble cast. Check it out.

Here’s a comment from a stupid white guy from Brazil. That is God. That is a religion. Cynthia is flawless. I cannot count how many times I cried watching this movie as well as watching this performance of her… I just want to say thank you. There is nothing I can say or do to thank her enough for existing. Thanks for this channel and also thank you Cynthia for existing. I truly love you to the moon and back

Cynthia Erivo is a wonderful talent. Here is her performance (along with Danielle Brooks and others of the cast of "The Color Purple") from the 2016 Tony Awards:

Unless I’m miseducated on this I believe the ‘I go to prepare a place for you’ is one of or the last thing Harriet said and also a religious line too. I might be wrong I hope not because this has always been something that made me love this more

She was up for an Oscar for starring in the movie as Harriet Tubman and she cowrote the song. Her, I'm Here from The Color Purple is masterful. You might also want to check out her duets with Shoshana Bean. Or the song "I'm Still Hurting."

I demand a recount! She should have won TWICE!! She wrote this song. No one even remembers Elton’s song 🙄

Cynthia is a Tropical Capricorn just like Elvis Oresley and Denzel Washington. They set very high standards for themselves. Unfortunately the cosmos does make them stand in the limelight for too long including Elvis who was overtaken by the Beatles and Denzel was overtaken by Tom Hanks in general.
That ye ar Cynthia lost the Oscars to Renee Zellweger who was a Tropucal Taurus.
Engelbert Humoerdinck who just release a new song and video capturing the dance floor of a Nashville pub, is also a Tropical Taurus. Taureans have an everlasting impact on oeople in the field of the arts. Capricornians are just unfortunate.

Just a tip of knowledge for learners in astrology.
Tropical Capricorn about the 1st 23 to 24 degrees (for those who atre currently living right now as the axis of reference is always in precession that means shifting backwards) translates to Sidereal Sagittarius (Sagittarius is the precedihg sign before Capricorn) in Vedic Astroligy in Hinduism.
So Denzel, Cynthia and Elvis are all Sidereal Sagittarius as they were born in the early part of Tropical Capricorn. And Sidereal Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter.
Remember what I said about Jupiter who rules Sidereal Sagittarius. Spiritual people with strong Jupiterian influence are destined to suffer or enjoy all kinds of experiences in mundane life whether good or bad. But Jupiter is only the Prime Minister serving the Sun which is the king. Thus these three people are more interested in their religion (Denzel is a staunch Christisn, Elvis is spiritual, Cynthia acts in a movies full of spiritual upliftment) rathrr than chasing after name, status and fortune althogh if they are given that position, they can undertake it with a snap of their fingers.
That goes the same with people who has a strong Jupiter in their Vedic natal chart. Not just only Tropical Capricornians. Like George Harrison who is a Tropical Aquarian but then his Jupiter is very strong in his Vedic natal chart.
