Cynthia Erivo can definitely sing! She's an English actress and singer who's extremely talented. She won aA Tony Award for best actress in the Broadway revival of The Color Purple and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. She was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for playing Harriet Tubman in the movie Harriet. Other songs by her are Stand Up and Goodbye Song from the movie Harriet and This Old Heart of Mind and Hold On, I'm Coming from the movie Bad Times at the El Royale. And there's more!
Oh Welcome! You honestly should listen to this whole concert at the Albert Hall. She is INCREDIBLE!!!! She sings so many Nina Simone songs like Feeling Good, Ne Mequite Pas, and I put a spell on you, and Aint No Way by Aretha Franklin. All brilliantly. She starts off the concert with Don't Rain on My Parade. Also she just did an incredible rendition of Alfie for Dionne Warwick at the Kennedy Center Honors.. BTW, this is the BBC Concert Orchestra, they are incredible!
