Love this townhouse, just stunning. Also that it has an elevator instead of climbing stairs is a bonus. Everything about this townhouse is gorgeous. The size of the rooms, the appliances, the floors & the backyard. Also in Boerum Hill, which is a great neighborhood. Lots of stores, restaurants & great transportation. If I could afford it, it would definitely be an option. Thanks Cash❤️!!!

Stairs are an easy way to keep your activity up w/o worrying about adding as much time to working out (or at all, haha. Diet matters more, but find the little ways to stay active and not sedentary).
Cash brought up a good point about the elevator that I wouldn't have thought of: it's one thing to be in a bigger building with a regularly serviced elevator. If it breaks, there's a dedicated person to help. If help button doesn't work, at least a building where it's shared, someone is eventually going to call attention to the fact that it's not working. If this fails in your own home and can't call for help, it might be a long time before anyone finds you 😳
That was absolutely stunning! Gorgeous staircase, elevator makes it accessible to everyone who can't do stairs. Outdoor spaces great. Loved all the finishes & light. Kitchen was to die for. Street was quiet & visually welcoming. Can't remember any place you have shone that I liked more.

This is MY neighborhood! It's great to see it on this channel. Smith Street & Atlantic Ave can get bumping on weekends. Unfortunately that particular townhouse and street is a little out of my price range.

No wonder the elevator is a must in that home you definitely be needing it because of all the stairs.
Yeah, could you imagine trying to schlep a bunch of groceries up to the 3rd or 4th floor? This way is far more civilized.
My knees (and back and hip) say no to the stairs but that is so cool. That's a proper powder room too with sinks & mirrors in the primary, throne & tub separate. Luxury!

Hmm... I could not even begin to tell you why the $4.8MM price tag didn't even phase me one bit here. I think this property had me when I saw the Mondrian inspired front door and window treatment. Maybe it was the balusters and balustrade? Possibly the in-house elevator? It could have even been the beverage cooler. All that I do know is that I LIKED THIS!!!

@@MamaCarola1 LOL! That's very true. I am NOT of fan of clinical modernism. But, this is not what I'm picking up from this layout and finishings here. I'm feeling an understated/quiet type of elegance. As I wrote earlier I was HOOKED when I saw the Mondrian inspired door and windows. The stairway is giving me an Art Deco feel. Then... there's the wood paneled elevator... OH! I LOVE THIS!!!

Love the wheelchair accessibility in these new Town Houses and could see myself in one in the future for sure, just needs accessibility in the front entrance for me.

@@RoySpray no solar panels. It really doesn't matter. It's probably around 5,000 Sqft.., if not more. My tiny home 1150 SQ ft costs $600+/ month on just electric alone since con Ed raised their prices! Not including gas! And we are barely home! Only two people live in it! I complained and now they are doing an audit! The only appliance that runs is the fridge! And I know that's not costing that much! It's crazy.
@@dianadundidit5343are you in an apartment/townhouse or detached house? NYC is usually the most energy efficient city in the USA. The average resident uses way less power than in most of the USA. Something sounds wrong with your place!

They did a beautiful job with the staircase. Looks very mid-19th century, when even the least expensive homes were of quality craftsmanship. I love this townhouse however, it is far more than I can afford.
Surely, this will sell to an incredibly well-qualified buyer while I continue to forfeit an obscene amount of money on rent.

This Townhome is Gorgeous! Love the roof top entertainment floor with the two Terrences. The private living areas on 2nd &3rd floors. And Formal family home area on 1st floor. The outdoor space is everything
This is built like the old town houses 100+ years ago, that the landlords have now divided up into a half a dozen apartments per townhouse. This is how wonderful and spacious the old townhouses used to be… It’s absolutely beautiful. The only thing better is the 100 year old townhouse that still has all the original woodwork in it!
This townhouse is a beauty. Everything is high end, great qualilty, and if you have the money....is worth the price.

Amazing how Boreum Hill has changed. I had a friend living there when we were in high school and it was so dangerous that you’d have to assemble a posse to walk you to and from the subway.
A friend had an office on Hoyt St. It was on the ground floor. The floor was dirt.

That looks like a great investment to set up a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Great location, great building... Not old with tons of problems and restrictions and not super luxurious that requires detailed maintenance. However, you still have the feeling of a townhouse in Brooklyn. And the neighborhood is great! Location, location, location.

I loved this townhome and it’s in a great area. Literally only one thing i didn’t care for ( personal choice ) is the induction stove. I hate them lol. Gas ranges are my go to and cook better ( for me )

A lovely place, light years away from my price range. The balconies aren't at all private, though the back yard is a bit better. The elevator makes it appealing to the older crowd.

Lovely townhouse. Downtown BK has some great neighborhoods -- Boerum Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Forte Greene, Dumbo, Parkslope, Clinton Hill, Carroll Gardens. They all have great public transportation, and that neighborhood feel. Love it.
Downtown is its own area. All the neighborhoods you listed are their own neighborhoods with their own histories. 😛
