I come from a poor county in Pennsylvania. I did bitch a lot, but more importantly, I got myself and my family and left. I left for an area that had more promise. I didn't sit around bitching about how hard it was to find a job for years.

And then compare that to going for a walk prior to 1996, and in the 80s, and in the 70s. If one was to go only by this channel one would think that New York is on the brink of collapse.
