@@rebchizelbeak5392 no, theft isn't really a major issue in low economic countries because despite the situation people still have a sense of shame and fear of God. The West has no shame, neither are they God fearing. You can leave your bicycle outside without locking it up and not worry about theft in some countries you would deem "low economy". Actually even high economic societies like Japan don't have to worry about that. When you mix up a country, you mix up and destroy its morals

The lousy laws of NYC, the rising costs of everything, lazy lazy lazy police force, and focus on generating the city money instead of policing and enforcing laws is what lead to this. As well as a moped being cheap, fast, convenient, easy to move in dense city traffic, and easy to keep unregistered, nothing to do with the border and all to do with a greedy city who punishes it's law abiding citizens in the name of revenue instead of enforcing laws and helping it's citizens

No one is talking about our so-called "migrant guests" who have imported this behavior from their countries of origin. And not only the crime of robbery but the fact they boldy speed on crowded sidewalks nearly mowing down pedestrians, if you step out of an MTA bus, you'd better look both ways because they slide up between the bus and sidewalk, that goes for ebikes also. Last but not least, I've seen these fools riding on the FDR Drive and other highways racing each other and doing tricks. It seems no one is talking about that. Keep up the excellent investigative reporting, Cash!

It's unfortunate that in some cases, authority figures only seem to punish those who respect them, while turning a blind eye to the misbehavior of those who don't. This creates a sense of unfairness and can lead to a breakdown of trust and respect between the authority figure and those under their jurisdiction, ultimately harming the entire group.
Just like how teachers in school often punish only obedient students and ignore those who misbehave.

They are not real judges, they’re activists and they’re implementing administrative policies that protect violent criminals and punish the law abiding.
