Wages war ignites for low paid workers

  • Business groups are demanding smaller wage increases for low-income workers to reduce inflation and unemployment.
The move comes after small companies struggling to stay afloat claim they have been shortchanged in the federal budget.
However, Treasurer Jim Chalmers has said otherwise.
“So much of what we handed down on Tuesday night is about supporting small businesses and people doing it tough," he said.

though one unorthodox solution if Australia turns into a third world country, thus businesses harming poep would go bankrupt and civllions would have enough to go buy, risky but better then debt

An economy needs debt to function, that debt needs to be paid via people? Corporations? Hmm
The US is the world reserve currency - they'll reach 35trillion. Nobody want shitty weak currency like AUD yet the USD is strong with that mountain of debt - seem interesting - seems far to obvious LOL

AU reality is so six months behind the US in so many ways, its uncanny. If you believe that is a good thing, here is a lovely 🌉to sell you. There is now two parallel global supply chains. AU's chain has multiple missing links, that will only lead to inflation & isolation.
