    ABOUT
    Hicksy is a pro strongman and coach from Morecambe, UK. Winner of Britain’s Strongest Man, in 2019, Graham Hicks is well respected as a strongman athlete and a regular at Europe’s Strongest Man, World’s Strongest Man, the Arnold Strongman Classic and other Giants Live shows.
    He also holds the records as the UKs best powerlifter with 1100kg, and the British Log Press record with 215kg.

    Use a regular barbell mix it in will help with deadlift

    I mentioned on another of Hixxys videos, this bar is more difficult to max on
    Yes more comfortable to hold, but some top end weight is missed. It's ridiculous the kind of power Graham has.
    I personally think if squat was a priority Hixxy would easily smash the world record. He's got the build and the power
    I know max deadlift is the thing and it's easier to judge etc, but i would love a squat for max at one of these comps in the near future. Preferred no suits, but wraps and belt

    12:26 2x4's stacked on the leg press is genius. I hate using a machine that doesn't have a hard stop at the bottom of the rep.

    Looking good on the squats, like you said, you can see your strength, just on the walkout. What's the difference between the safety bar and a regular bar?

      Require more core strength and helps ppl to squat who have bad shoulder mobility or had bicep surgery

    As someone who just got 315 for 5 yesterday(I'm 50), I think your form on the 330 was a little lacking, if you want some tips just let me know. Oh, one more small thing... Mine was lbs. 😂😂😂
