The sponge ice pack is brilliant. We’re always forgetting to refreeze the ice pack for my grandson’s school lunch. In hot Virginia, it’s a necessity to keep everything cold. I’m going to go down and buy a six pack of sponges so they’ll have time to freeze before tomorrow.
We were surprised by this hack, too!
Or you can just freeze a bottle of water. A plastic one, of course.
Are the sponges dry or wet before freezing?
@@cathleenwedlake4705 It's a joke, isn't it?
@@taviariton5140😊the straws were good idea 🎉
My favorite is fitting parchment into pan. I will not dread it anymore 😂 Love these tricks and your channel!
😂Thanks
If you crumple parchment paper up and run it under cold water, then give it a shake, it will fit into any pan.
Everything he does, he does SOOOOO ELEGANTLY.
Not often we hear you talk but the production beauty of your posts draws me in every time even if the recipe may not be for me. You will make the 1M. Awesome channel
Thank you so much!
The person talking is not Alex (the cook) but Igor who does the voice over and editing.
I think he needs to try to make videos talking even if he don’t speak English, But I think people connect more when they here someone’s voice, Just translate on bottom of screen, He could try it and see if it works, I like watching him also!!
These are brilliant!!! I am going to make those ice packs at work tonight! I work in a small hospital and we sometimes have to transport lab specimens a short distance. The couriers have "lost" or torn all our gel packs, so this is a marvelous solution. All that aside, this is hands-down the best food channel!!!
It's a great solution for transporting lab specimens when traditional gel packs are not available.
Incredible! These budget-friendly kitchen hacks are proof that you don't need fancy gadgets to solve common cooking and cleaning issues. From using double-sided tape and clothespins for organizing to repurposing everyday items like plastic bottles and napkins, this video is full of resourceful ideas that anyone can implement. Kudos for sharing these simple yet effective solutions!
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! 🧹
Lots of these are new to me! Thank you. We love your channel 🥰
Have you had a chance to try it yet?)
Damn, that tip of cleaning the gunk from the bottom of my pans is awesome! Where have you been all my cooking life. And if I have trouble with my chopsticks, I use a fork. And that tip about the wet sponge in a bag ,frozen, is great as a coolant. How come most of us didn't think of these things already.
Because thinking is hard and takes time. Oh, and I almost forgot: Being ingenious is a special talent.
Love the plastic water bottle turned into a cup!
Love tip on how to prevent milk carton spill!
Love the 🧽 cut to hang on faucet! Love the sponge refrigerants.
We hope you try this in your kitchen!)
Love your jazzy soundtrack! For getting stickers off of delicate glassware, gently rub a bit of peanut butter into it. The oil and “grit” breaks down the sticky stuff, but won’t scratch the glass. ❤️
Thank you for your kind words about the soundtrack! And thank you for sharing your helpful tip for removing stickers from delicate glassware. ❤ ❤ ❤
I've been with this channel since the beginning, and wonder why it is so difficult to reach the 1 million subscribers? It's the best cooking channel ever😘 and was even better before the commentary...
I’m going to pick out my favorite video of his and share it on Twitter. I’ll also mention that he’s Ukrainian.
I don’t have a huge following, but it should help!
Thank you for watching us for so long💞💞💞💞
И я с самого начала. Давно не заходила, вот зашла, и не поняла, что случилось с каналом? Почему все на английском? Почему другой формат?
@@thomasmezei3231 interesting. Me too. Never get notifications.
The life hacks were simple and useful, some I know I’d use. Great cooking channel and welcome back!
Did you get to try everything?)
To pour from a shelf-stable container , like milk , without spilling , hold the container so the pour opening is at the top , not the bottom . This allows the air to vent from the top without having to go through the liquid ...so much easier to control !
That's a great tip! Thank you for sharing!
You can also hold the milk carton the other way around. It is designed to use this way so it doesn’t spill.
Nice, I will try some of these tricks
Have great love of your channel … but was far more satisfied by the lovely unspoken kitchen dance of previous episodes … always found it perfectly understandable with delightful filming in your great space … ❤
😄😄😄❤
The sponge and the hot cup are the winners for me.
Simple hacks that work, so refreshing after the phony hacks I've seen elsewhere. I like the sponge ice packs. :)
The sponge ice packs are indeed a simple yet effective solution for keeping things cool. They're convenient and can be easily made at home. 😊😊
Where was that?? I didn’t see such a thing 😟

The bag! He made a bag!…👍🏼👍🏼and a clean pan✌🏼❤️
My favorite life hack is the one from the other video where you show how easy it is is to sharpen scissors with a glass. It works so great! So I will try to sharpen my knives the way you show it here. So convenient...
I have NEVER heard you speak before. Nice to hear. Thank you for all your recipes and hacks👍🤗
Enjoy the cooking!
I am addicted to this channel. Love all kitchen hacks.
Happy experimenting and exploring in the kitchen!
If you can’t use chopsticks without an elastic band or the paper towel hack, I would definitely recommend a fork or spoon. 🤷🏻♀️😁🇬🇧
Yes! But people who want to learn how to use sticks will be useful this hack)
Great tips! 👏🏼 Thank you 😊
Thank you for your fascinating solutions
He is the best ever.

You are amazing!! everything you do is a life-learning lesson. The parchment paper used to fry food, I must try. Thanks for sharing.

On the bag of frozen veggies, cut about half inch from top and use the strip to tie off the rest of the bag.
That's a great tip! Thanks for sharing!
Good idea! I just use a peg but occasionally it gets knocked off in the freezer and I get peas everywhere! 😅🇳🇿

For easy holding of chop stix: My daughter-in-law wrapped a rubber band at the top end of the chop stix for my grand kids to use and for grabbing toast out of the toaster oven.

Thank you a million times over! 💙
Great tips! Thank you! 💙
Learned quite a few tricks. Unless you're like me and have many things to do, I take oven cleaner to the bottom of my pots and pans. Like the clothespin hack without putting screws in the door.
Glad to hear you learned some helpful tricks! Thanks for sharing your helpful tips!
@@WebspoonWorld You are the best teacher!
Your Chanel is one of the best in CZcams. Congratulations! Danke
To close a plastic bag of peas from the freezer, cut along the top to make a "string" about 1 cm wide. Leave the last 2 cm attached. Use the string to tie the bag closed with a simple knot.
Thanks for the tip!
I didn't watch the video all the way through, but when you used plastic bottles I found that if I don't have a funnel, I can cut a plastic bottle part way and use the top inserted in anything that it will fit in and use it as a funnel. This works slick if I am using a gallon milk jug to make Iced Tea or Coffee. The powder goes in easy and does not make a mess.
Thank you🙏
