And the guy who got scammed coincidentally happens to meet the real her somewhere. If he's an idiot who didn't even consider the possibility that someone might use her pic to fool him, he might go after her or even attack her. I just hope nothing dangerous or bad happens to her.

Turned out that the photo was that of a police officer in Hawai'i who had posted his picture originally for friends and family online, and the perp copied the photo. The poor woman was so humiliated and embarrassed she couldn't lift her eyes from the floor as she had given all of her money to this person that claimed he loved her. Dr Phil did his best to affirm her positively. This man right here, he's the total opposite of that woman, so Dr Phil had to step up to him.

I live in Thailand and it’s surely possible. Many tanned ‘exotic-looking’ girls from the lower class will gladly marry foreign men to move abroad (and then ditch them) or to make such gullible men buy them a house here or give them monthly money. A foreigner can’t buy lands or houses here by law, so any property will be put in the girl’s name. Then voila! She can chase him out anytime he behaves badly in HER house. The look on these men’s faces once they realize they are not in control of these sweet uneducated beauties is always funny.
On a side note, tanned girls here have very little chance getting attention from decent Thai men. All the more reason why it’s so easy. The 65yo fat guy I work with talks to “girls” all day on his phone. They constantly are asking him to send them gift cards. I don’t know if he does it. I think he does. I’ve tried to tell him he’s being scammed. I guess I will show him this video then leave him alone about it. Cuz after that if he continues to do it then he kinda deserves it.
So guys, the woman on dr. Phil is the mans ex wife. This guy, while he was married, lost his and his wifes million dollar retirement savings in day trading(which is highly risky, hence the losses).
Around the divorce he started looking for a young wife and he has half a dozen women that he thinks are potentially “the one”, all extremely young, none of whom hes ever met or spoken to on video chat and all with clearly scam stories about them unable to get money that is rightfullytheirs and needing money to make it happen. Hes given these “women” over 💵 50k.
He says his philosophy is to believe the women are genuine unless proven otherwise, and so continues to do so in the hopes of landing a beautiful young and importantly, rich wife! He thinks that they would actually want a 70 year old broke moron!

I’m so thankful that Dr Phil is covering this kind of thing! I see things like this happen to older people & they take all of their life saving or try hard to! It’s such a disgusting thing these people are doing and the poor victims that end up with literally nothing after with only a broken heart & empty wallet... it’s so crushing to see. It can happen to anyone.. even through those stupid email claiming to be PayPal or your insurance provider. Not to mention the thousand of fraud and scam phone calls...You have to be so careful now a days.
