Why do some people, especially the older ones, not accept the realities of their lives? Like no, a 25 year old woman is not going to have a passionate romance with you. But, if you're lucky, you can be comfortable and healthy and safe.
I wouldn’t say that no 25 year old woman would want a passionate romance with an older man. Age gap relationships exist and those people are very happy.

There are a lot of 45 year olds who aren't bad looking if they take care of themselves or have good genes, but this guy is old and looks old. As a 27 year old man, the oldest women I'm willing to date short term are around 55 if they've aged well and have nice personalities. This man does not have a charming personality.

The stories are always kinda ludicrous in these situations. I mean I have heard dozens of stories in romance scams that involved the person being kidnapped or held hostage. How many people have you heard of that anything like that has happened to?
Probably not very many because although it does happen it's pretty rare.
I tend to think that by the time they start with stuff like the scammer has already gotten the victim to suspend disbelief long before that.

Months after the breakup, I contacted her to make sure she was doing alright. We chatted again in early 2019 for a short time, but she ended up blocking me for whatever reason. Even now, over 2 years later, I still have no ill feelings towards her.

As I said in my initial comment, in many states the maximum age in which they can attend public school is 21. Minnesota is no exception to this rule. So, that meant she could attend Roosevelt High, the school she claimed to be a student until 2005. Since she was supposedly born in 1984 herself.
