Kettlebells are like dumbbells, just harder to handle for pressing movements. Most kettlebells can be replaced with dumbbells, but not vice-versa. Most gyms do not even have heavy enough kettlebells to do any actual work with. They are fine for general fitness for beginners and people who are into certain novelties but they shouldn’t be romanticized as the best way to train.
