Now you would say that they can get information from online resources but there should be someone to tell them taht. Right now it is our parents that are telling us that but just think when these children will become parents do you think they would be able to tell their children what to see what not because children nowadays don't listen to their parents they think it is lame and one more thing intelligence might be important but this generation is loosing their moral ethics and that the reason sucide rates are getting higher because these children are so engrossed in mobile that they don't get time to even get in contact with outside world and their problems and when these children are exposed to them they are not able to withstand them and end up committing sucide or get into depression.
Do you think at this rate the next generation would be able to learn something from us.

right, there're many children who are mostly on their phones nowadays, yet everytime i go outside i see a lot of kids playing on the playground, spending time with their parents and so on. just yesterday i saw a bunch of boys playing the guitar nearby the grocery store. so sure, not as many of the youngsters are doing real life activities nowadays, but still a majority of them do.

I miss my childhood too much, me and all the neighbour's kids used to play hide and seek at my house and sometimes in the street and we also used to play football with passion but now no one even comes out of their home and all my friends are somehow busy every moment. I remember how we all used to run randomly for no reason, check haunted places, used to go to weddings together, think about ohr future, had a thought to do something big , had a spirit inside us to give our 100 percent, i wish i was able to go back to my childhood and make some more memories and live every memory again😢.

About 7 years ago, my mom, brother, and I lived with my grandmother and maternal family. After several years, my dad and mom got back together, and from that moment on, we didn't go out like we used to (go to parks, squares, play with the neighbors, etc) [when we lived with my grandmother, we used to go to the park a lot and play with some neighbors] They gave us cell phones and from that moment on, we never went out again.😢😢🤧🤧

I was six in 2004. I spent most of my free time on my Game Boy Advance, and many of my friends watched TV from 4 to 8, or played Tamagotchi. Ten years before, a lot of kids spent all their free time on the SNES. Even before video games, some kids spent afternoons watching TV or reading comic books. It's simply how things go.
However - I AM blown away by just how many eight year olds have smartphones. A phone is a powerful device and giving it to someone who might not understand its power is...startling to think about. Give them a Switch or something...
