You and RawBeautiKristie are the only non-POC beauty content creators I fully subscribe to and watch. I absolutely love Glowmas. And I actually take advantage of some of your recommendations with color ranges that suit me. You only technically need it if you don't have dupes or just ran out! Just saying for the literal minded among us (like myself).
But good alternate title, she'd have sold me on the ND palette had I been into the types of products it has in it (I already have good quality neutral shadows, I have my signature foil, I explicitly don't do blush and I'm not into blinding highlight). It sounds like a wonderful product for its intended audience
I'd love to see a "best of the rest," type video... hair, skincare, body stuff, shower, etc.
I used to pass on the makeup videos bc they weren't really my thing, but I somehow stumbled into bingeing every single yass or pass, antihaul and makeup video you've made in the last two years over the course of one week, so let's just say I'm OBSESSED and HERE for the makeup vids even if it took me long enough to get here 💖

Just a thought, but have you looked into book clubs and stuff in your area? A lot of them in my area went online due to the pandemic, so they might be more accessible now. My mom gets invited to more zoom meetings than I do!

It pains me to admit it because I am not an Olivia Rodrigo stan, but I watched someone review the products she used in her Vogue video and my winners for this year are the Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer (perfect undertone and finally a bronzer that looks good on my pasty face), the Pacfica blush in Camelia, and the Stila putty highlighter in Kitten. Not new products but certainly new to me. Particularly the blush and highlighter though tbh, they just have a nice wear. Idk how to explain it other than the highlighter just seems like it melts into the blush. Also, all three of those with that Glowish skin tint??? Amazeballs, truly. I'm also blown away by that skin tint's longevity tbh. I wore it under my mask to my optometrist last month and even with all the machines they had me mush my face against, I got home and had not a single dent in my makeup. It was insane

I haven't been interested in makeup content or reviews for a good and solid year but Smokey Glow has been the only creator I've continued watching. I just love her personality and hearing her be so happy about the products she got. Her passion transcends genre for me, I'd watch her talk about anything at this point

My favorite product has been the NYX this is milky gloss in Fo-Moo. The slightly blue tint is so fun and it smells like the strawberry milk of my public school lunch days. The formula feels so creamy and slick and I love it.
I’ve stopped wearing makeup completely over the last year or so (and never wore much to begin with), yet somehow I find myself watching all of Hannah’s makeup videos 😂
Hannah!!! If you love the Nyx marshmallow primer you'll probably like the MUA Banana Blur primer!
It's hydrating, gives that "I drink 8 glasses of water a day" hydrated glow, but actually extends the wear of your makeup (I have *extremely* combo skin and it works amazingly on my desert-ass forehead and my McDonald's fryer nose)

My favorite product this year was the rare beauty liquid blush in joy. I love how it looks on me, and the color is so pretty-less is definitely more-I wipe off the excess product into the tube before I put it on my face. I’m also like brow freeze from ABH-some days I don’t want to fill my brows and this has been a great addition to my routine. Love Glomas! Keep ‘em coming.

Seconding the rare beauty concealer! I stopped using their primer and foundation, but it works great with my powder products. That helped prevent creasing in my under eyes (the bane of my existence before i finally got them under control)

Best 2021 makeup: Salt New York creme tint pros & reusable pallet. Samantha Ravendal had them in her best of last year. I’m absolutely in love. I wanted to try the Tom Ford shade & illuminate & kept realizing that my salt New York was comparable or better. Small business, sustainable, woman owned business - chefs kiss products!
And, I’ve also been on the skin tint train/light foundation train. I’ve never been much of a foundation wearer & the last two years esp my skin has gotten really, really dry in the winter making it really hard to find anything that doesn’t make my face feel like a mask in a couple hours. Then I found the L’Oréal hylouronic serum foundation. It’s beautiful - it actually reminds a lot of the Dior nude air foundation serum, but waaayyyy less expensive. Wears great, can’t feel it at the end of the day. It’s very popular so hard to find but def recommend!
Finally, for favourites- rephr brushed, eye-curler & their new makeup vanity containers - love!!!

Thank you so much for the recommendation regarding the NYX Marsh Mellow Primer and Glowish Multidew Skin Tint. I’ve been looking for the perfect combination of make-up no make-up to have a makeup routine that soothes my anxiety but is still ignorable and work appropriate. I’m not crazy about the smell of the primer, but by the time I’m finished and have the other products on, I can’t smell the primer. You nailed it. Thank you so much!
