The ace family situation is more messed up when you realize catherine and Austin had their children bathing in cold water for TWO YEARS, in a house they knew they weren’t supposed to be living in and basically uninhabitable, just so they can keep up appearances online, that’s TERRIBLE, like is that not child neglect?
WHAT bathing in cold water? They didn't have a water system in the freaking mansion or what? Every time I find something out about the ace family is always horrible...
@@sofiipote7 that's what they claim, idk if I could actually see them living in those conditions so either they're lying about the extent of the problems in the house, they're lying about having lived their the whole time (as in I think they were 'living' there but staying in airbnbs or with family for shorter periods for water access), OR they did actually bathe their kids in cold water and are psycho. I just can't imagine them putting up with the inconvenience of that though, because they would've had to shower in the cold water too, surely. Isn't it crazy though that they publicly said that and didn't see the major problem with it? Like the mom sat there and said to the camera that she bathed her kids in cold water during the winter and framed it as a "poor me" rather than, ya know, child neglect.

It shows how disconnected from reality they are, on one hand, and on the other, how they don't even consider their children and their own responsibilities as parents, that it didn't even cross their minds that showering their kids in cold water, having many other possibilities as they have, would totally be their fault. It's actually really sad to think about it from that perspective

The only reason people picked up on that Jeffree Star thing was because 1. Jeffree has said multiple times he slept with guys in the music buisness on the down low 2. Kanye and Kim just got a divorce 3. People were looking for a reason to be homophobic without being outwardly homophobic

Schadenfreude is the word I think you were looking for about the ACE family. A German word meaning, “pleasure derived by someone from another person’s misfortune”.
It’s not necessarily funny, but there is some pleasure in seeing someone who flexed that property so hard then get the repercussions of the shady stuff they’ve been doing.
Also, they probably earned enough money from that single hour-long video they did about their house situation to buy a house that’s more expensive than most people’s homes.
I just can’t find any sympathy for them losing that ridiculous house when I know they can easily buy another one and there are real people suffering from a housing crisis due to the current world situation. 😒

The thing that really made me angry about the Nicky Phillipi situation was everything they did to set up the scenario that would inevitably lead to their son being nipped. And he was nipped, not full-on bitten, they said this themselves in their video.
They knew their son was harassing the dog while it was eating but did nothing to make sure the dog could eat without a toddler getting all up in his food bowl. This would have been so easily fixed by giving the dog a secure place to eat as well as teaching their son that he should leave the dog's food alone. It was this specific scenario that lead to their kid being nipped.
They knew their son was inappropriately aggressive when interacting with the dog, once wrenching his ear so badlythe dog got what they described as cauliflower ear. This, again, was a teaching issue for the toddler. They should have made sure their son knew to be gentle and should have monitored the situation any time they were in the same space until the kid knew how to safely pet or play with the dog. Again, easy fix and what a responsible parent and pet-owner should do as a basic part of having a pet in the home.
The dog was unable to sleep without their son harassing it, keeping the dog from ever being able to rest, having to be constantly vigilant. The dog would try to sleep and the toddler would bother him, the dog would move, the toddler would bother him, following the dog wherever he went. They said it as though this was an unending cycle, leaving the dog too insecure about being harassed to ever properly nap. This, too, would have been easily fixed by giving the dog a crate or bed that was somewhere the toddler couldn't go while training their child to not bother the dog while resting or sleeping.
The dog had attacked her mum's little dog as well as their own little dog. They put this aggression down to the fact that the dog was attacked by another dog when he was just a puppy. They evidently didn't get him any help or training to deal with this so he wouldn't automatically associate other dogs with danger. However, you then see a video that they themselves put online, where they are thrusting the snarling, snapping little dog in his face then laughing hysterically as each of the dogs gets more and more upset and aggressive, all the while increasing the potential for disaster. Keep in mind, this little dog had already been hurt by the big dog. It's no wonder it was ready to attack when literally shoved into the bigger dog's face, desperateto get away. And it's no wonder the big dog had attacked it before if this is how they were made to interact. I don't think they can continue to solely blame the traumatic event when they are actively encouraging aggression towards smaller dogs.
All of this is what led to their son being snapped at. However, they crafted an environment where something like this was almost inevitable. They put the dog down as though it was dangerous and had a vicious nature that couldn't be helped or cured, there was no hope of him ever being safe in their home or adoptable to another family. The problem is, they did nothing at all to even try. Not at the end after their son was hurt and not along the way when things clearly weren't functioning well in the home.
They put that dog, other dogs and their own child at serious risk while doing nothing to make the situation safer. That little boy could have been mauled or killed if the dog finally hit breaking point in a much more intense way. They got lucky. It sounds like the poor dog put up with a lot from their toddler before giving that warning snap.
I'm sure it was really scary for them. Even so, on the last day before they killed their dog they had a little photo session and had their son posed directly next to the dog's face, inches away. So either they are completely reckless and were willing to risk their son's life for a photo op so they could post the bittersweet photos on social media for the sympathy they were fully expecting after the "loss" of a beloved pet OR they truly didn't believe the dog was so dangerous that there was no other reasonable choice but to put it down.
This is all from what they shared in the video talking about the situation as well as other videos from their own social media. It's not people making things up just to hate or for some fun drama. They put it all out there themselves and people reacted. The reaction was definitely not what Nicky was expecting.
there's a lot in your comment that I didn't know about, I had an idea of what happened but so much of this hurts my heart. That poor dog was neglected and abused. I worry about the animals still in their lives.
@@RealElongatedMuskrat I worry as well. For any children, too. Having untrained animals and unsupervised or uneducated children in a house together is not a safe mix.

This is one of the best comments I’ve ever read. So informative. I had no idea all this stuff had happened. What a horrible situation, and I thought it couldn’t get worse but here we are. Thank you for sharing. I feel sorry for that poor dog and any of their subscribers or anyone who heard about this story that was negatively impacted or triggered by this situation. It’s truly sinister.
I would add to the Nikki Phillippi discussion the fact they decided to do a photoshoot with the dog and the child next to each other before they put the dog down. Knowing it was an end of life photoshoot for the dog. Absolutely disgusting.

I hope the victims of James Charles and David Dobrik find justice. I hope there’s a way that these alledged crimes are brought to a proper legal arena. It hurts how James and David seem to have NO MORAL UNDERSTANDING to clear their name first before going on CZcams.
No one really talks about how MEAN James would be to the ones who didn’t want to cross the line and send him pictures and flirt with him. Like even the 18-19 year olds he was so horrible and just domineering and entitled. No one can ever convince me he didn’t know about the power imbalance.
@@KittyKong14 exactly! James was incredibly aggressive when boys and men didn't send him the pics/videos he wanted. He would also try to fly out boys and guys out to see him. He knew that his fame and money could make his sick fantasies come true.
It’s so disheartening because I know most of these victims don’t want to deal with the backlash of pursuing legal action. I know David and James still have fans who will absolutely rip their victims to shreds if they take legal action. Plus I’m sure James and david can afford to spend tons and tons of money on lawyers and I’m sure most of the victims aren’t able to do that. I hope they can find justice and peace in their own way though. I really wish our legal system wasn’t so controlled by money

I've been having a really hard month and Glowmas has honestly been one of the best parts of my December, I gotta click as soon as I get those notifications 🥰
My sister had a dog that would get agressive with the neighborhood kids and even though it hurt her to do, she re-homed the dog to someone who didn’t have kids and could take care of the dog better. That would have been the best thing for Nikki to do. And the fact that they had a photo shoot with the dog before they killed him, including with their child that he apparently bit…. Disgusting. 😤

According to the jewellery website Jaclyns jewellery is rhodium coated brass. Rhodium isn't an issue and is often used to coat yellow gold to make it "white gold" but brass is not a suitable jewellery material and can react with skin. She could have easily used 925 sterling silver which is cheap to work with and source. Unfortunately a lot of fashion jewellery brands use cheap unsuitable materials and Jaclyn really had a chance to stand out and use better materials for the price charged but of course she didn't
The influencers going out during the pandemic one pisses me off so much especially because I live in Mexico and during the 1st pandemic wave we didn’t close down our borders, which attracted a lot of those influencers into our beaches because the rules here were so relaxed, but that caused so many deaths because Americans were spreading the virus. And I don’t really blame the people here because they need to make a living, I blame the government and the dipshit influencers who think they can come to another country and do whatever they want.
Hannah can I just say that I'm a gay man who doesn't know the first thing about makeup or the beauty community but watching your videos has opened my mind to so much! You're constantly giving us great content and you're always so fair & unbiased. I've been watching you for almost a year now and I just want you to know how much you're appreciated on CZcams! I love that you upload at this time cause it's the last thing i see/watch before going to sleep. Listening to the intro you can take a break! I'm sure the majority will be understanding.
