A tip so that people dont steal your pens:
If you're lending a pen to someone, make sure to keep the cap on you because people are less likely to put a pen in their pocket without the cap
I only use cheap pens but I still don't like people taking them. So I put a few chew marks around the top. Nobody EVER touches my pens.
I am an outlier to that cap theory. Can't count how many times I have ruined pants because I put one in my pocket without thinking

I'm surprised the non-family guests weren't thoroughly disgusted by the sister's behaviour of even considering that it was ok to have a bite of everyone's dessert. The stories about the siblings reminds me of one with my older brother.
When I was about 15 or 16, I started buying my own bathroom products (body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc) to meet my teenage girl needs. They were not the cheap ones that my parents bought to get us by. They were specific to my hair type and skin type. My brother ALWAYS used them, despite me asking multiple times not to. One day, I had finally had enough. I went to the craft store and bought a shimmer type glitter to add to EVERYTHING. Enough that it would be noticeable in the light but not when he was using the stuff.
He sparkled like Edward Cullen for almost the whole day before he noticed. Then, wouldn't you know it, he never touched my stuff again. I, however, got in trouble for being petty. đ Oh well.

Same here. I had a younger sister who would do the same thing except she'd eat all of whatever she had, *then* demand the rest of us also give her ours. She always got her way. We haven't spoken in 17 yrs. Not because of the candy thing specifically , that was just one of the many annoyances in her arsenal. Her favorite was rolling over next to me & wetting the bed we shared then rolling back onto her dry side every single night. Any retaliation on my part ended with severe punishment so I decided fk it, & every time she would do this for the next 3 nights I'd set both my feet in her back and mule kick her off the bed. Mom finally got us separate beds on day 4 after I'd kicked her so hard off the bed she smacked her head hard on her dresser. I still call it a win.

The pen story brought up my pen story: I had a pen that was oak and brass with my name on it there was another Erica in my class. I dropped it; she picked it up. I'm the ONLY Erika. I asked for it back she said no so I left the class. I was good friends with the receptionist who could make announcements on the speakers. The receptionist said that the Erica in room xyz come down to return the pen to Erika with a k. NO ONE EVER spells my name right, and my aunt got it engraved just for me. I was upset on vacation with her and there were pre-engraved ones with my name just spelled with a c. No way no how was I gonna let the Erica get my pen.

We where out shopping and my mom said we could go buy gummys or candy and i choose gummys as i love it, and my sister said She didnt want anything. After paying and getting in the car i start eating it and my sister asked for one and i agreed as i had quite a few, then She asks for another and i get a felling this would go on so i say no but my mom said that since she was the one that paid i had to share, so i give one more to my sister, and when she asks a third time i just lose it, i grab a gummy and put it in my mouth with a finger or too to get some saliva on them afterwards i pass my fingers on the gummies so my sister wouldnt want any, and it worked.
The cheesecake story. I never had something like that happen to me, but I feel like it could happen. I would probably have done the opposite of what op did. I would have just smashed the amazingly decorated cake with the palm of my hand, picked up what I could and just throw or push the pieces into the her face. And just say (angrily): here, now you have all of it.

They are all awesome videos and right up my alley! I've always loved stories of revenge on choosing beggars and horrible co-workers/bosses!! After years working in hotels, I have had my fair share of nasty guests!!
Regarding the story about people who say they don't want candy, and then go out of their own way to steal it from their siblings (and even worse, the parents don't punish them for it): when my brother and sister tried that with me, my only response was, "Sure I'll share - I get the candy, and YOU get the empty wrappers!!!!!"

Being forced to share is so annoying. My older sister and I each got bikes for Christmas when we were kids. And at some point my sister's bike ended up becoming unusable. So my mom said that I had to let my sister use my bike, and that we'd take turns using it. But my sister rode my bike ALL THE TIME! Every chance she got, all day! And when I would ask when it was my turn to ride MY bike, she told me I'd have it 'later'. About a year and a half goes by, and I haven't ridden my bike at all in that time. My sister was gone somewhere for the day, so I decide to take my chance to finally ride my bike again, after so long. And that's when I realized, I OUTGREW the bike. I had had a growth spurt and the bike was now too small for me, but of course still the perfect size for my sister. UGH! We're both in our twenties now, and I still like to remind her about how she owes me for stealing my bike, lol.
