⭐️ Ingredients:
3 lbs pork roast
4 carrots (peeled and cut into large pieces)
1/2 onion (diced into large pieces)
4 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon minced Garlic
1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup water (for the gravy)
2 tablespoons cornstarch (for the gravy)
⭐️⭐️How to make a pork roast in the crock pot
Add the pork and everything except the cornstarch and the ¼ cup of water into the crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the pork is cooked through (internal temperature of 145 degrees F).
Remove the pork and slice.
Now, time to make the gravy. In a small bowl whisk together the ¼ cup of water and the cornstarch.
Remove 2 cups of the liquid from the crock pot and place in a sauce pan.
Whisk in the water and cornstarch mixture in with the liquid.
Heat over medium high heat. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring frequently for 3-5 minutes until it begins to thicken.
Drizzle the gravy over the roast and carrots when serving and enjoy!

Low for how long or high for how long
It's been years since using my crock pot. So ty for reminding me I like this channel
Love this recipe.
Sounds good already
Happy New Year PCH family. Looking forward to your visit in tbe New Year. May everyone have a joyous and prosperous New Year. In it to win it.
My favorite part where she doesnt say the times .. fail
The cooking time varies greatly based on the size of the pork and how well you want the meat done. A big hunk of meat will likely take 6-8 hours on low but those skinny pork tenderloins will be done in much less time.
I love this. I have a big pork loin that I had no idea what to do with. But I work and don't want to put the time in to grill it. I figured crock pot was the way to go. This is cheap and easy.
I thought of a compromise with your mashed potato situation. I agree that I'd like some mashies with it as well. But I have potatoes on hand. I'm going to cook the potatoes with the pork loin to soak some of that flavor up, and them use those softies to make my mashed potatoes. I'll let you know how it goes 😃
Girl we all feel you with everything you said🤣🤣🤣🤣your energy is everything.
Looks good already!!!
Thank you for watching!
Yeh not bad thank s
Me so hungry! Me hungry all day! Mine won't be finished for another 3 hours
recipes, please. I have company coming and no time to cook. Thanks so much.
what kind of water was that and how much?
Please!
How long you cook on Low ??
or how long if you cook on High?? 6:24
she did tell us how long to cook it, for what looked like a good size tenderloin.
How much broth and what kind
Recipe!!
Too cute.
Recipe
Kind of pieces? Hmmm....
Recipe!
You didn't leave cooking time 🤔
If you go by internal temp, then you really only need to cook it for the texture you want. High for slices generally because the high heat makes a good slice. But low for longer makes a more shredable meat. It's all about how you want it.
It depends what i cook for how I do it. It's your call.
Don't you fuckin hate that
@kirkwood512 no she did not and the link says 6 to 8 hours
so how long do you cook it on low? on high?
Good on low for 8 hours or high for 4.
Did you mention the cooking time?
You will want to cook on low for 6-8 hours
Got it! I was able to figure it out and have one going as I text.
The recipe looks good, but your personality is so fun to watch, lol!
i never made a roast before in a crockpot. do I drain the blood juice out of the packaging??
Yes definitely drain the blood
i mix my spices in with the chicken broth first good job so it's not in one spot
😃😊
My husband is a big carnivore lol the only veggies he will eat is potatoes and carrots but the carrots have to be SUPER soft.. like mush kinda soft. Ew. So I just have the meat. Il put a ton of seasonings in a bowl and rub on the roast and keep in fridge for 24+hrs. Then il put in crockpot with some water. Il cook it on low over night and it would be soo tender by lunch/dinner the next day. I use a little bit of salt but then add more before serving it it needs a Lil flavor boost. I was so nervous making my first roast and your video definitely help me understand the basics. Now my husband and daughter want it every other weekend. I think imma have to invest in a bigger crockpot haha.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 funny.....you just put in a tenderloin! im a butcher i know the difference
How's that vodka?
That's the recipe? 😂 NO lipton soup mix? Salt and pepper only for seasoning? 😂 OK
Thank you, like your attitude also. I get tired of plastic personalities. Yes that's one of my originals. G.
Cook time, come on wake up
The recipe calls for 1/4 cup of water. Yet you dumped a dang coffee pots worth in there?! 😐
The recipe actually calls for 4 cups of chicken broth but she used water instead since she was out of broth. The separate 1/4 cup of water you saw in the recipe is to make the gravy.
It would've been better if you browned it or put nice crust by frying it in pan first, remember taste is EVERYTHING!!!
Something tells me you are always late for events. Time? Missed telling us twice.
How long….. too much gabbing
Why bother
Nice! A huge huck of bacteria filled food poisoning for dinner!!
