- Today we were super busy working in the yard so I let the crock pot do all the cooking. Check below for the pork tenderloin crock pot recipe.
2 pound pork tenderloin
two large potatoes diced
five carrots peeled and diced
one medium onion diced
two bay leaves
two tablespoons butter
32 ounces chicken broth
three tablespoons corn starch
six tablespoons water
6-8 hours on low in the crock pot
Another point...you are the 1st person to show us how to make a gravy! Thank you.
Looks great and you made it look so easy to do. Thank you for sharing.
I have seen a zillion recipes but this is the best! I didn't know you add broth to the top....thanks for the tip.
I like the chicken broth idea for the crock pot instead of water
This will be my first crockpot pork tenderloin. I will put this together about lunch time tomorrow and it'll be ready at dinner time. Thanks for sharing!
Love the recipe. Thanks for sharing it!
Tip: if you sear the meat fatty side first, it gives the meat on both sides a chance to cook in the frying fat. Also, if you place the meat atop the veggies in the crock pot, the flavor will infuse them as they drip down. P.S. if you move the pan closer to the pot before you ladle in the liquid...no mess! Hope the gardening went well....
Love a good tenderloin -- it's super important to have those veggies in there to help keep the temp/cook time to work out right!
I’m going to try this recipe it looks easy and quick.
That’s a pork LOIN not tenderloin.
Love it!! Thanks for sharing!!
Looks delicious. Can't wait to taste mine.
That looks awesome
I enjoyed watching your video you made it look very easy it's very simple and I'll be attempting it this weekend thank you
that looks good, I just made it, will see the results when i come back from work . thanks
Not worth updating us apparently.
Looks delicious 😋
Yum was delicious Thankyou
Here’s an idea ?when you’re taking your liquid and putting it in the pan to make the gravy move the pan closer to the slow cooker so you’re not dripping it all over the stove! FYI some of the many things I learned in homemaking class Wayback in the day … you did a very good explanation . It turned out good for us!!!
Here’s an idea. Watch your sentence structure.
@@donnastandley8056 wow I guess you are thin skinned and you can’t understand what I was writing! If you don’t want comments good or bad ….stay off of CZcams.😂
Nicely done
Sounds yummy
I also coat the meat with flour before I sear it.
I like your video and I would have done everything just the same looks delish yummy yummy
We have this dinner all the time, quick, easy, tastes good and it's usually pretty cheap! Thank you so much for watching!
Don’t forget to wash off your salt and pepper shakers after handling raw meat.
That’s just a loin, tenderloin is much smaller. Great video though. Thanks for sharing
Should have shown how to make roux. Adds a much better flavor to gravy :p
Great vid!! What size is your crockpot?
I’m always looking for exactly this type of recipe. It looks yummy and will probably become a regular for mt family
I made this last night for the family and the kids loved it. The pork itself was juicy, but bland. We definitely needed the gravy which we used the roux method to make. I wonder how we could add more flavor to the inside of the pork itself. Maybe brine the pork loin before it goes to the slow cooker?
Andrew, it doesn't look like she answered ANYONE??? Did you ever make any changes to your dish?
@@donnabittner69 I only made it the one time 2 years ago and haven't revisited it. If I were to make it again, I would brine the pork ahead of time. I bet even 45 minutes of brining in just water and salt would make this way better.
thats the biggest pork tenderloin i have ever seen ( pork loin )
This is a pork loin, not a tenderloin!
I don’t understand why she calls it a tenderloin
Maybe she did not know 😒
You are cooking a pork loin and not a pork tenderloin. A tenderloin is about 2 inches in diameter . what you have is a center cut pork loin roast.
That is a half-pork loin...not a pork tenderloin. Still liked the video.
That is not a tenderloin
Wow....that's a whopper size tenderloin looks more like a boneless center cut.
Looks delicious 😋
