xQc has enough money to hire a top tier personal chef, and he decides to eat fast food in what looks like a daily basis. That's not the first time I've seen a millionaire do that. Trash food is seriously addictive
As a person who’s actually cleaned up one of these “streamer” rooms from an evicted apartment, the amount of roaches and dead bugs within the empty food boxes would make a dumpster look clean. Not even mentioning the stench.
The way xQc just feigns shock when showing his room as if he weren’t the one who made the mess is killing me. Then he just casually puts the camera down like we didn’t get a brief overview of his horde
@@1WEareBUFO1 It's sad because he could clean the whole thing in less than 5 minutes with a wet dish cloth for the spilled drink and a big trash bag for everything else. But he doesn't.
Cant forget that at one point Asmon was throwing garbage OUT his window next to his computer into the space between his house and fence, and his neighbor called the city to tell Asmon to not do that anymore.
It's an actual mental illness. Working in the game industry I unfortunately know too many people like that. The difference is that they aren't multimillionaires like asmon. It really shows that having money doesn't always change peoplem
I think it’s honestly just as a joke for the viewers, doubt with the rest of the room being clean that he’s generally messy. It just doesn’t go together
Selectivly lazy. I can wash my cups when im done with them but having to take them back downstairs to the kitchen is just too much lol. I have a pile of “clean” dishes sitting on the bathroom counter to be taken to the kitchen
@@user-10021 yeah definitely, is a joke for the views. His 100k average views are not enough, so he have keep his stream area messy 24/7 for a 10 second clip.
Charlie is the kind of guy you would expect to have a messy room, ironically, he doesn't, even more, he hates gross rooms while streaming. We can see the effort to make people comfortable. Keep it up.

As someone with Autism, ADHD, and depression, I get it. I've let my space get pretty bad before cleaning it. I've definitely had the cups and plates piled up with trash sitting around. In my teens, my mental health was so bad that I'd just let things get moldy (and being screamed at by my mom every time I'd clean purely because I had made a mess that needed cleaned didn't help anything). I had a hard time developing cleaning habits as a result, and when my husband and I moved in together, he really helped me establish those cleaning habits. Between his patience and therapy, I've turned into a pretty big neat freak. I had to skip some cleaning things last week due to a recent increase in responsibilities (it's temporary), and it really bothered me that I didn't have time to do my weekly mopping and toilet scrubbing, which a couple of years ago I'd have been happy to not even have to do. Everyone has a limited amount of "spaces" in their brain that allows them to focus on important tasks. When you have mental health disorders, especially ones that effect your executive function, some of those "spaces" are taken up by your brain trying to focus on appearing "normal" in everyday life (work, school, social settings, etc). Therapy, medication if needed, and a good support system can really help you out if you're willing to be honest with yourself about where you fall short. That being said, even though it's not anyone's fault that they're made the way they are and have the disorders they do, it's still their responsibility to take control back from the dark parts of their brain and to try and improve, little by little if they have to, on the things that hold them back in life. Once you accept that motivation comes after you start and not before, as well as what you can realistically take responsibility for, your life will drastically improve.
It's comforting to learn about people with similar experiences. My mom also struggled with ADHD and depression, but my dad was supportive and she eventually made it through a difficult part of her life. I have many of the same problems as my mom, and it took me several years to learn the truth of that last sentence. I was in a dark place for the last couple years (can you guess the catalyst?). Now that I'm doing better and working toward my goals, I try to remember to take pride in everything I do to better myself, even something like cooking a meal instead of eating a frozen dinner or fast food.
xQc is so lucky; he gets to see the Great Pacific Garbage Patch in his room all day and always gets to stream near it. If his pile isn't considered an A-tier dumpster performance, then I don't know what is.
Jesus man, that is a MAJOR sign of depression. In my lowest times, my room was like that for a long time before I got out of it and now don't have any problems keeping it tidy. Hope xQc and all the others are okay.
Asmongold is a genius. He doesn't need to clean his room. By leaving the garbage as it sits it eventually evolves and gains sentience thus realizing the errors of the past and begins to organize itself into a more sustainable existence. As seen in the second video they begin to categorize the various types of waste and implement strategies to combat the filth that once ruled their world. Making way for the utopia that is to come but as we all know all empires will eventually fall and succumb to self destruction and thus return to the degenerate muck from whence it came only to repeat the cycle.

Having suffered from depression for many years now, my room has gotten this bad, and worse. "Hoarders" levels at times. Part of my recovery lately has been deep cleaning, and I'm basically going minimalist. The less stuff I have, the better I feel. And it's sooo much easier to keep it clean, and have a better daily mental health, when it's clean and feels like a functional space
As a person with ADHD along with depression and anxiety I really feel for these guys. I've spent my whole life beating myself up for just not cleaning and not being "normal". Mental health really really messes with your executive function. Now that I understand how ADHD works and have gotten help it's gotten better. I hope they get the help they need.
Yo famm I’m a small content creator, and I make a variety of entertaining reactions, vlogs, and a range Of other content and I’m still working on quality but I guarantee you will find something you will enjoy🙏🏾‼‼
I feel you. It's a vicious cycle where a mess gets worse, you don't have the motivation or energy to clean it all, but the bigger it gets the more overwhelming it becomes. Suddenly your mess is just another confirmation-bias reason to beat yourself up and it drains your battery more and more. Still figuring out how to will myself out of my own messes lol I can understand why these guys aren't "just hiring someone". It's can be hard to gauge the impact your surroundings have on your mental health, plus there's elements like shame and avoidance. Plus when you're streaming so often, it's gotta be hard to cancel a video/stream just because a cleaner is working in your room.
its hard to explain this unless you've felt it before but with some mental issues it can be hard to do something even if you know its hurting you. some extreme examples could be hoarding a house so full that it falls apart. a hoarder wants a home, and needs to do basic tasks to live, but the mental state they are in can make balancing what's good for them hard. its like trying to stop smoking except instead of nicotine you have to battle with your habits and urges that might not be tied to a drug you can just stop buying. So ii do agree with what you're saying but i do know that a lot of people that say "Just do X, its that simple." or "why would you do this in the first place" don't always get WHY its not simple, or why it hasn't been done yet. there's not always a straight answer (even if that would be pretty damn nice)
@@GwyndolinOwO It's also one thing letting it get to that point, but especially when you have a "depression room", cleaning it becomes even harder because when you try to clean it because it feels like you're uncovering times of hardship. It's hard to explain to those who haven't gone through it before.
@@GwyndolinOwO I don't think it's a mental issue in XQC's case but I'm not gonna blatantly deny the possibility. However, I do agree that it's can be hard to get out of the situation once you're at that point because you just have no motivation to do anything, but sometimes you have to force yourself to do things. Having a cleaner environment will help with your motivation, and cleaning will make you feel good because you'd be doing something productive. Otherwise the situation is just gonna keep getting worse and worse. Getting out of your comfort zone is very important
I have sympathy for this kind of thing because I know what it’s like from having mental health struggles. When you get so absorbed in other sh!t and you have nobody to support you or hold you accountable, the mess can build up pretty quickly. Hopefully these guys seeing their messes clipped and posted is a sort of wake up call. It took me getting a roommate and therefore not wanting to be a bad roommate myself to develop better cleaning habits.

FELLOW LAZY CLEANERS, PLEASE READ!! Best advice I ever learned to avoid piling up a bunch of garbage: 1) You have two hands. Every time you get up to use the restroom or get something, take TWO things with you to throw away. 2) Clean for 5 minutes per day. It doesn't have to go over 5 minutes; just clean and don't stop for 5 simple minutes. If you follow those two tips, you'll find your room to be maintaining a healthy cleanliness, AND you don't have to go out of your way to spruce up your room every month.
@@Bonebounder93 Depression is no excuse. I have MDD along with a bunch of other diagnosed shit that would put you to sleep if I read it, not to mention an assload of childhood, teenage, and adult trauma. I can still take the time to put a cup in my hand and into a trash can when I get up to shit.
This video should serve as a reminder to all of you to empty your dishes, do the laundry, take out the trash, and pull the chicken out of the freezer. Make sure the mcdonalds is off the floor
The internet has made me learn a lot of things 1. Not to live in filth 2. Internet fame isn’t worth gambling your mental health away 3. Always go incognito
This is so sad to me. When my mother passed I spent countless hours playing doom eternal and drinking 4 to 6 cans of soda, energy drinks or beers a day. I left the cans around me everywhere, ate off of only paper plates & hoarded silverware in my room to the point my dad asked me where it went. So it hit me hard when Charlie said "how does that guy not run out of silverware." Always keep in mind if people do this, it's usually a lot deeper than just being lazy.
It may have been that way for you, but that doesnt make it the same for everyone else, it could just be that they are this lazy or actually dont care i can believe someone that streams multiple hours a day, eating and drinking can stuff all day would just not bother too much, not saying its good, just saying i believe people can be like that without any deeper meaning
@@indigo7898 Absolutely, some people are just indeed lazy and don't care. I also lost my job due to having a seizure at work. So everything hit me hard quick. From what I see now, some of these streamers could even afford to have someone clean their house. That's when I find it crazy to have that option available & still choose to ignore it..
@@indigo7898 It's hard for me to imagine there not being a deeper problem personally because that level of clutter really tends to wear on your mental health. Even just having a cluttered work station can impact your mental health overall never mind a mound of trash next to your desk lol. For most people that impact on your mental health would push them to clean it. It's just hard for me to picture someone having all that clutter so close to them and not taking care of it without some sort of extenuating circumstance.
@@indigo7898 ...Nah, if it's just laziness, it will get to a point where its too much and it gets cleaned up. When it just sits and builds like that, there's something else going on. How severe whatever their issue is, that's what varies from case to case.
My room used to be like that. At the time, I was dealing with severe depression and hoarding behaviors. Took me a long time to work past that shit. But now I've cleaned up alot and improved myself, and I honestly feel 100 times better then I did. I really hope he can do the same.
It upsets me deeply that these are the people so many young people look up to and idolize, I have nothing wrong with a kid wanting to be a streamer, but they should look up to the people who have some self respect, this is just sad.
Xqc was pretty much my room back in the day, I'm 23 now but I was too lazy to clean up and on top of that my depression allowed me to not even think about it. Until I started caring about my future it was absolutely disgusting. People that have their rooms like this probably have an issue that isn't just laziness or work ethic but probably SOME sort of mental issue that just stops you from thinking about things like this. Just my take.
Ofc it's different for different people but some people just adapt to their surroundings and then add laziness on top. There's garbage in the way? "eh I'll just walk around it instead of bending down to pick it up". Keyboard missing a keycap? "eh I'll just click on the switch instead of finding it/getting another" . Ears clogged? "eh I'll just increase volume on my headset"
very accurate Id say, when I was younger, I just couldn't find the energy to care about myself or my surroundings so I just left it. now Im no Mr clean but, I keep it good enough.
Honestly xQc's trash pile just looks like a collective garbage area before the weeks pickup. Asmongold's on the other hand was the entirety of his room. Man is genuinely living in filth. I couldn't imagine how fermented those drinks on his desk are.
Just watching his live chat absolutely freak out was amusing. Also, do these people know what a trash can is?? Asmondgold is over here stocking up on fast food drinks like they’re collectibles.
I personally wouldn’t shame anybody with dirty rooms because you never know why that person room is actually dirty. Could be over working, depression, hoarding problems,to busy to clean or you don’t have the motivation. You should get it cleaned thou when you can and try to motivate yourself to do that, especially if you live with animals or other people.

I don't understand why their rooms would be so messy. Like if I had a good computer setup, I would strive to maintain the area clean so that grimes, crumbs and fluids won't stain or damage my devices. As well as to keep unwanted insects or pests away... Bruh, but that's just me I guess
Asmon saw the movie Signs and took it to heart. All of those cups are filled with old water, waiting to be used against the alien horde that is to come....
Stuff like this is hard to watch, not only because I have to be very careful not to fall into the same rhythms, but because I have a few friends that have just as bad, and sometimes even worse rooms. Depression is a hell of a thing, and while it doesn't excuse these messes, it's a very tough hurdle to get over the "why bother" mentality and take the steps to clean up.

After my ex wife and I split, my kitchen & living room looked similar to this but instead of disposable plates & cups it was mostly a TON of dishes everywhere. Deep depression & anxiety caused a lack of motivation for me to clean... But after mustering enough motivation to do all those dishes I told myself never again. I now use 3 designated cups only - for everything. One double insulated cup (you know like one of those Starbucks one's with the straw) for diet coke / soda, one double insulated water bottle for water, and another insulated coffee mug with a lid for coffee and tea. Never again will I do that to myself. If anyone has a similar problem I recommend going to your local Target or Walmart and buying designated cups, it really does make a difference.

What strikes me is that these room are bad yes, but not the worst. You could clean most of these rooms in a day. All it would take is some contractor bags, a vacuum, carpet cleaner and some hangers. Maybe throw some sheets on the bed and wipe down surfaces. Honestly if they don’t care about looks it would be best to leave one of those giant trash cans (with a lid) in their room to take care of the smell and would require less frequent take out of the trash bags. It bothers me a little how fixable these rooms are and they can’t take one day to do it.

XQC literally just needs a huge trash bag and just push it in with a broom. Asmon actually needs to do way more. It's ways worse when it's: All kinds of trash, food and drinks left in there, piled up enough so you can't see if theres any mice or bugs living in there. Atleast it's mostly clutter now but jeeze. It's also kind of funny that I got recommended this right after I cleaned my room. Which does have some clutter but I swept up alot of the trash from junk food
He said he leaves trash from food but not food. And he cleaned it up. “Acceptable” is relative but my room is really small and gets cluttered but i do have an excuse. My knee is messed up and I can barely stand up anymore until it hopefully gets better.
I had a friend in HS who had trash that covered their floors two feet deep. Mostly fast food, paper plates, and frozen meals. Their mom paid myself and another friend to assist cleaning his room a few times a year with snow shovels. If he didn't have that fire I'd have never gone in to that room.
The main thing I don't understand, and Charlie mentioned it as well, is how a lot of these people can sit here and show off their gross ass rooms with such a level of pride like it's a trophy accomplishment. Like "Yeah so this is a drink that's been sitting here for 5 weeks with mold and bugs all in it, that's pretty cool."
It might be a gamer culture thing…showing how much you’re dedicated to the grind that you don’t even have time to pick up after yourself. Not justifying it, just saying that might be the mentality. Still though I know xQc at least has an on-again-off-again partner so I hope she doesn’t have to deal with this crap. He has the money to hire a cleaner or something
Assmongoloid's room looks like when I organise the garage put the similar kinds of clutter in one place but then I realise there are 5 subtypes of clutter so it looks more chaotic than when I started.

Its just because they have been so used to just such a lifestyle and no one telling what to do that they rather feel guilty than actually do something about it
It would be so easy to clean their spaces, you literally just need to shove it into trash bags. My boyfriend accumulates so many bottles and it's like why can't you just take them to the bin that you walk by constantly 🤦🏼♀️

WHY THIS HAPPENS: Depression is why they have a hard time cleaning up. Overwhelmed + depression followed with the anxiety of how much is to clean and their brain goes into hibernate mode aka a slight state of torpor. Basically the mind ignores the trash even though they see it and how bad it is. The thought of having to clean it up becomes even worse of a feeling because of the depression they are dealing with. After being overwhelmed by these negative thoughts, to manage stress they choose to not think about it until it gets too much to think about for them. Asmon has finally made it past the first stages of recovery with his own mental health, and now has been doing much better at keeping up with the tasks of cleaning. XQC has mastered a balance of only having a single spot cluttered to help himself feel better about it thinking "it's not bad, the room is clean except for this one spot". As for not hiring someone to cook or clean up for himself is because he is embarrassed by the clutter, and knows plates and silverware appear much more disgusting than the outside of fast food bags. It's easier for him to mentally manage trash from fast food over stacked plates and bowls needing washed.

It’s actually his fear of roaches that makes him keep clean
@@LukaGruby Oh I didn’t know that, I thought his cleanliness came from being a hypochondriac + fear/disgust of bugs.
Once you accept that motivation comes after you start and not before, as well as what you can realistically take responsibility for, your life will drastically improve.
ok
xqc does have ADHD im pretty sure
Your second paragraph is maybe the best and most accurate way I've heard how this all feels. I share this struggle and it comes and goes
Did a doctor diagnose you with all that?
xQc is so lucky; he gets to see the Great Pacific Garbage Patch in his room all day and always gets to stream near it. If his pile isn't considered an A-tier dumpster performance, then I don't know what is.

Making way for the utopia that is to come but as we all know all empires will eventually fall and succumb to self destruction and thus return to the degenerate muck from whence it came only to repeat the cycle.

I feel you. It's a vicious cycle where a mess gets worse, you don't have the motivation or energy to clean it all, but the bigger it gets the more overwhelming it becomes. Suddenly your mess is just another confirmation-bias reason to beat yourself up and it drains your battery more and more. Still figuring out how to will myself out

I can understand why these guys aren't "just hiring someone". It's can be hard to gauge the impact your surroundings have on your mental health, plus there's elements like shame and avoidance. Plus when you're streaming so often, it's gotta be hard to cancel a video/stream just because a cleaner is working in your room.
3:10 “it’s working overtime” 💀💀
I don't get how people can live in such filth, and they're millionaires too. You have the power to hire a cleaning lady at that point.

The fact that the man has a GF too lmao-
I get not cleaning up sometimes when you’re lazy, but there is a point where the mess is just inconvenient to your life where you HAVE to clean up
its hard to explain this unless you've felt it before but with some mental issues it can be hard to do something even if you know its hurting you. some extreme examples could be hoarding a house so full that it falls apart. a hoarder wants a home, and needs to do basic tasks to live, but the mental state they are in can make balancing what's good for them hard. its like trying to stop smoking except instead of nicotine you have to battle with your habits and urges that might not be tied to a drug you can just stop buying.
So ii do agree with what you're saying but i do know that a lot of people that say "Just do X, its that simple." or "why would you do this in the first place" don't always get WHY its not simple, or why it hasn't been done yet. there's not always a straight answer (even if that would be pretty damn nice)
Depression can make you not care about that shit when all your energy is focused on just getting by day to day
@@GwyndolinOwO It's also one thing letting it get to that point, but especially when you have a "depression room", cleaning it becomes even harder because when you try to clean it because it feels like you're uncovering times of hardship.
@@GwyndolinOwO they are just lazy af and so are ppl that don't clean
I have sympathy for this kind of thing because I know what it’s like from having mental health struggles. When you get so absorbed in other sh!t and you have nobody to support you or hold you accountable, the mess can build up pretty quickly. Hopefully these guys seeing their messes clipped and posted is a sort of wake up call. FELLOW LAZY CLEANERS, PLEASE READ!!
Best advice I ever learned to avoid piling up a bunch of garbage:
1) You have two hands.

I feel better about my room now. Despite having clothes on the floor and an unmade bed, my room looks perfectly immaculate compared to the dank troll caves these guys are living in. My trash is in the rubbish bins, not the floor. And my gamer fuel is properly stored in my mini-fridge, not my desk. I couldn't fathom having to walk through all that junk taking up all my space
I swear this is what my mom would see in her eyes when she would walk into my room and I had a few water bottles and a single take out bag on my desk. She would freak out saying its like a tornado hit my room. Meanwhile I would go to friend's places and their rooms would look like xQc's and I would wonder how bad my mom would freak out if I was actually THAT messy.

I’m so glad your going deep in the dungeon lore.

@@1000bytes its a bot

any day now the mold is gonna start its own empire and try to conquer asmon's room
That's how asmongold was born
XQC literally just needs a huge trash bag and just push it in with a broom. Asmon actually needs to do way more. It's ways worse when it's: All kinds of trash, food and drinks left in there, piled up enough so you can't see if theres any mice or bugs living in there. Atleast it's mostly clutter now but jeeze. It's also kind of funny that I got recommended this right after I cleaned my room. Which does have some clutter but I swept up alot of the trash from junk food
Asmons isn't dirty anymore he started cleaning
I literally just finished cleaning my room and got this video recommended to me also. Weird.
You don't sound acceptable either. How do you leave literal garbage and food sitting around? It's not hard to just maintain your room.
Depression is hell

I love how I can barely sit here and play a game without the pressure of feeling like I should be doing something more productive. Imagine sitting there with hundreds of moldy mcdonalds drinks knowing it would only take less than an hour to clean it. Like sitting at a desk all day with your elbows bent around sodas.
1 hour and its clean. lazy af.
You can look through the comments on this video itself and find people giving genuine praise to streamers for basic hygiene and cooking, it’s sad.
Its just because they have been so used to just such a lifestyle and no one telling what to do that they rather feel guilty than actually do something about it
In his defense, him sitting there is how he makes all his money. But he should definitely take the time to do some basic cleaning, he’ll feel better
Less all this can just be shoved in a bag and tossed on the curb another 5-10 to vacuum the area and done in like 30 mins tops

It would be so easy to clean their spaces, you literally just need to shove it into trash bags. My boyfriend accumulates so many bottles and it's like why can't you just take them to the bin that you walk by constantly 🤦🏼♀️
XQC's room is larger than my apartment yet he uses this space for his trash I'm so done
Yo famm I’m a small content creator, and I Make a variety of entertaining reactions, vlogs, and a range Of other content and I’m still working on quality but I guarantee you will find something you will enjoy🙏🏾‼‼
