If I wanted to dedicate this to a vertical setup for pinball and vertical games, does the menu interface show up vertically? Thanks Cool Toy, they really have some great products going based on their system.

    Another excellent video! But it does raise a question for me. I thought to run CoinOpsX on the Legends machines you had to go through a process to actually add it to the machine. Is that the case or do you just have to have the image on the SD card? Just curious because you just stuck in the SD card and it worked, so I wasn't sure if there was anything you had to do before that (aside from downloading the image, of course) to get this to actually run.

    • @TStodden
      @TStodden Před 3 lety +1

      If you paid attention to the firmware version when the settings are shown, it was running just the default (outdated) firmware... so all we need back then we just all your files on a USB storage device. Once you update it to the current firmware, you'll access CoinOpsX via the AddOn Store (Flash Drive X required). If you don't want to run a 2 USB device configuration, you'll need to make 2 partitions on your USB storage device (Flash Drive X partition as the primary, General Storage as secondary).
      Since this was an advanced review unit, there may be stipulations with AtGames on NOT updating the firmware for risk of bricking the device (which was a concern when stores broke the street date for the 2nd Gen Ultimates (v1.1)) until it's officially supported by the firmware.

    It DOES NOT work on Xbox Series X Controller wirelessly. Trackball and spinner does not work either on Core even though it works on Gamer's Pro. Xbox One controller and playstation 5 controllers are the only 2 currently working wirelessly with buttons map properly. I tested like 7 wired older USB PC based like 8 bitdo sn30, n64 , gamecube , etc and they all have issues with missing button mapping or just does not work at all. It is not plug and play as atgames make it appear. I hope atgames fix this before public release.
