so I know some people aren't fans of gamestop but they apparently slashed the price of this down to 50 bucks, so I couldn't resist getting one! even as a stand-alone arcade stick I imagine it'll be at least pretty decent quality so, definitely looking forward to checking it out!!
Thanks to your comment I managed to get one for $50 as well, thank you so much 🙏
Single Player atgames stick did surprise me.
It's great if you don't want to use the 2 player stick all the time 😁
I wonder if that joystick and button box can slip into an Arcade 1 up cabinet? Or maybe build a cabinet for it.🤔
Did you notice any input lag, since the joystick controller is wireless?
I just got one of these for 10.99 at goodwill! I’m so excited
Thanks I learned a lot 🤘😁
ETA, would you consider making a video of playing the Legends Core with the Xtension Control Panel? I pretty much have it working except I can't start player 1 or player two on a lot of atgames games. It would be a good a great vid for us Xtension users and probably a challenge for you. Thanks!
Didn't know they made a mini version. Think I need to pick one of these up.
Wondering if the control panel would pair or plug to the shield for gaming?
Great stuff,KEEP UP awesome work
It should, it's just a bluetooth device.
When can we expect the AMD Ryzen 4650g in minisforum emulation video? Been waiting since you showed the first video about it :)
And now on clearance at GameStop for $50! Just ordered one! And it's a lemon..... of course. Says it's synced. But nothing. Won't work by USB either. Hope they can send me another one......
Mine did that did the firmware update on the control module and it's working again.
Could you break down your equipment your speakers and mo it or setup for this looks niiice
7:25 this is my favorite Metal Black
I'd like to know how viable this little guy is as a home arcade solution. So, what can't it play?
Can you connect more controllers/joysticks to the device? Can you add more games to the device or do you stream from your own device?
It's on sale now at GameStop for $50
I wanna see it running The Pinball Arcade using the pinball buttons -- if it can do that, I shall make instant purchase. Subject, of course, to availability.
can you mod this into a Arcade 1up? was thinking about turning my Mk2 1st edition cab into a Atgames machine while using the Core and maybe the control deck if it is plug and play lol.
$50 at game stop right now! I couldn’t pass it up
atgames REALLY needs to ramp up production. They are sold out of everything way too often.
I am leaning into getting 1 when i can afford it.My friend and i started a thing last week.Rather than lanning we play mame games.Funny we started with metal slug as he's pro in it(not me though 😁)A 2 player one would be nice but i have a small room and a big pc so idk if it will fit.I also have to see How much it goes for in South Africa as we pay around 100-200 usd more for parts.
I'd consider buying this AtGames Legends Gamer Mini specifically for Front Line - my all-time favorite arcade game. Since this control panel doesn't have a spinner, how can Front Line be played?
planning to buy only the legend core in the future, very curious how to add games please...neo geo for example it is already running neo geo but so I expect that the bios is already there?.
It looks fantastic I’ll give it a try
Can you show a wired connection to a PC running something like CoinopsX Next or Diamonds? Do the controls just work or do you have to do a bunch of configuring?
ETA I'm wondering if you could pair the Pro with the Mini (or multiple Minis) on a single console for 2+ player action.
Yes
Excellent!!
what games could we add and i wonder if the shop to south africa?
ETA do you plan on doing any emulation testing on some of the atgames units coming out?
Like in a blender?
@@superduty4556 I think he meant to say emulation lol
I'm personally not very experienced with setting up arcade emulation. I don't even know what emulators to use for specific arcade roms!
Would this fit into a arcade 1 up???? Because that would be a easy mod for me
I have a question. How good does the resolution look in any given 4k TV? Is it over pixilated, blurry or dark? Is it better than at least a Retriod Pocket 2 with mini HDMI or about the same?
I have a cheap TCL which is just phenomenal with the Legends Gamer Mini- but please note that I am not a videophile.
I think it's a great idea to stream arcade games for a monthly fee. After all as a kid growing up with arcade games the one thing I loved the most was paying money every week to be able to play the arcade games.
I missed that option over the last 25+ years, but now I am glad the option has returned. I was tired of playing arcade games for free.
And not only that, but also rely on internet connection to do so. Oh great!
As for the rest of the functionality, it looks good.
Thanks for the video.
ordered this for $50 from gamestop today.
What is the full name of the streaming disk device and where can I buy one?
Wonder with the dimensions if it could fit in a GRS Deluxe Tabletop.
can you switch this with what's in the arcade cabinet?
Could you use an iPad as your screen if you connected an adapter to allow hdmi to connect?
Where did you get the super Nintendo hoodie 🤔👌
Any word on if 2 mini controllers could be connected to one base station?
If you want to play this on your TV in the living room, how awkward would it be? Can you have it on your lap on the couch or should you be on the floor sitting indian style or something? It just seems much more suited for a table top.
I just played last night with it on my lap
Can you pair two "Legends Gamer Mini" control panels to one base station for two player action?
Any word on if 2 mini controllers could be connected to one base station?
I just got this for in total of 53 dollars including delivery. The deal was too good to turn down.
Can this be used as a controller for PC, Android, and Switch?
The input lag is strong in this one and super visible while playing. Check Metalslug, the difference between the input and when the sprite changes direction.
Has to be, I thought I caught that too
I believe firmware updates have since fixed that.
Can you add Nintendo and drag games to this or just mame rims?
Just ordered one for $48 shipped. Couldn't say no at that price.
where did you get it? Im trying to find it but is out of stock everywhere, or too expensive.
cool but you did not mention what games are compatible ps1, n64 , ps2, etc.
Will this fit on an arcade1up...!?!
where can i get that sweater ETA?
Whats your connection speed in Mbps?
I don't remember seeing an entire arm before nor have i seen his upper torso.
I’ll be using this in a area where we don’t have internet service. We can still play what is downloaded on the console correct??
You can play what is already installed when you purchase it
I like that Nintendo shirt.
Will it run Nintendo, SNES, PSP, Playstation, PS2, etc??
Isn't it easier and lag free if it temporally download the ROM instead of streaming it?
But if you download the games then why would you keep paying them?
@@Trusteft GamePass?
how do you add games?? tutorial please
what is the emulator on the legends gamer that plays the UCE files?
I just got this for my kids for Christmas. I was able to get it paired up and installed and got them playing their first game. However I can't figure out how to get out of the first game and back to the main game menu. Can anyone help?
Does it work with the Nintendo Switch?
What are these speakers?
Please review th at games core too
Device looks great, ESPECIALY at the 100-129 mark. Just gotta wait for the fightstick guys to do a rundown on the hardware now. Could be the Neo-Geo Pro killer
It's $49 now...
2:13 Wait, eta prime isn't actually a transformer/robot??
This not Eta Prime, this is his humanoid slave.
Does it work on Mister FPGA?
how's come there was NO tear apart ?
why "river raid" is never available?
Can you add other emulator cores?
Well worth the price!
I think its kind of silly to stream a game that would take us mere seconds to download to play locally with no lag for older games.
I think most of these devices are for people who want the convenience of not having to use their brain and search for these games.
With all the changes in MAME and Nintendo on the warpath for ROMs it doesn't even own(!), it's a lot less convenient that it used to be to find old games.
Meh. I have a lot of old games on CD-ROM. My thing is finding something that's compatible and has a decent emulator for those games and can run attached to 1080p or 4K without having to spend hundreds of dollars in compatible HDMI cables. There are some old games I wouldn't mind playing again without having to worry about stupid old CD-ROM lasers wearing out or finding a decent cable that gives out a good upscaled/filtered image that isn't washed out.
Yeah, if you have it, keep your old tube set. At least you won't have to buy new cables for that!
@@AvengerII I'm not saying theres anything wrong with the device its self.... I'm just saying it should have a system where it downloads and deletes the game after use instead of streaming it.... it'd use up far less data.
@@KinseySS The unit supports usb. Just put all the games on a USB flash drive and play them whenever you want. Then you won't have to keep deleting and downloading. I have about 5000 games on a USB stick.
It's pretty cool how the games come with bezel art.
Why was this taken down for a bit?
Bump, cause I wanna know too
ETA PRIME , I need that hoodie👀👍🏾
I wonder if could play marvel vs capcom 2 on it
Just realized these are the same people who made like 4 different Genesis consoles before they made a half decent one lol
really?
@@kurtsydavis7517 took me a second since this seemed like a decent product
A little too big for 1 player mini. Would like 2 of them to be full size arcade together & apart lap size.
Just get the legends gamer pro. It's the two player version.
This is best porduct
Could you show how to add coinopsx?
That hoddie is dope, where did you buy it?
I wish the quality of the device was better now it won't recognize the controller( it will pair with my android tablet and laptop and work fine) , the pairing button doesn't work, and it won't reset through that small hole in the back. I've only played with the device maybe 7 times including with Coinops X and it's already failed I hope the Legends Core Max is of better quality.
This is great cuz I don't have friends. :D
no tear down of the stick?
Yeah no tear down, reupload, and atgames
That is 3 big red flags right there
And of course at games even had a partnership with Disney to put fix it Felix in there looks like Disney and I came to sound something after all
Is this a better option than the 8bitdo arcade stick?
Probably not, 8bitdo is known for quality while Atgames is known for disappointments.
Plus the atgames one is game streaming with a subscription service, 8bitdo has a raspberry pi built in so you can fully customize and add your own games without paying a big fee.
On Metal Slug you didn’t even get the Rocket Lawn Chair. Thats a fail.
This is on sale for $50.00 right now do you think it's worth it
Not available @ Amazon
Have u repost it again
Wait, AtGames got a license to include Fix-It Felix, Jr. in something???
It's the wreck it Ralph game from the movie.
@@mrmasterpeels I know where the original came from, I was expressing surprise that ATGAMES got the license for it.
I also know that it was indeed made to be a real arcade cabinet after the first movie: Barcade in New York City had it and it felt like a weird in-between of Donkey Kong and Crazy Climber.
@@apollolux OK. I wasn't saying you didn't know what it was. I was just replying to the way you worded your question. That it wasn't just Fix it Felix in some random game they made, but the game from the movie.
@@mrmasterpeels Nah, the surprise was always about AtGames somehow getting such a high profile license given their inconsistent track record.
How can I hook this up to my raspberry pi?
That button layout is so bad tho. Why can't we have the good old astro city cab layout for once
Why’d this get taken down before?
Aliens. And stuff.
Trump
@@benseac what?
@@ahsanmc ignore him, he has TDS - Trump Derangement Syndrome.
They blame the president for everything that goes wrong those americans. Lol
Also bump, I'd like to know why this was reuploaded and certain comments were deleted and censored.
I want to see ETA PRIME do a food review at a restaurant.
This looks pretty neat.
There has to be too much input lag doing it like this, wirelessly, surely?
Always look at the scrolling during the gameplay footage, you can tell by the scrolling.
@@Incognito-gh5qiI mean controller response time
Why only one player? Can't you play two player games and share controller?
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it illegal to sell unauthorized ROMs ? Because I doubt that they have the right to sell all those games with it.
Would I do something illegal if I set an Raspberry pi 4 or something up with all available ROMs for snes , nes etc etc and sell it ?
I'm sure they have the rights to the roms atgames isn't some no name Chinese company and alot of their products are sold in local stores.
anyone know how to power this down? Do we just unplug it?
Power button on upper right corner.
I cant get my usb to work. Anyone can help me
Giveaway info?
Just wait, he'll do it eventually
Why no pacman?
