Namaskar. Great question. As far as the narration of the Mahabharata text is concerned, the Kaliyuga began on 2 November 5561 BCE, the last and the 18th day of the Mahabharata war. Other ancient Indian texts such as Harivamsha (Khila Parva of Mahabharata) and other Puranic or Sampradaya references also point to the last and the 18th day of the Mahabharata war as the beginning of Kaliyuga. You can read 'Yuganta' by Jeevan Rao for detailed evidence and analysis. Hope this helps.

Well guys even just by watching serials on Mahabharat we know that Vastraharan attempt was hampered by krishna. Mr Nilesh oak is just repeating the same thing. Vastraharn didnt occur but vastraharan attempt occurred. Hmmmm
Maybe watch Dr Oak ji's videos on the 2 texts which you brought into question and then measure your scholarly cynicism against his claims at Oxford Univ.....Certain claims carry a reward if you can refute .
