YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT WE FOUND METAL DETECTING IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! Unbelievable!!

  • Dumb Luck AGAIN!! We walked straight into a Honey Hole LOADED with early 1700’s coins. At first we were thought we found a broken CASHE or some sort of HOARD. We found plenty of Buttons & Relics mixed in the iron patch so we believe we found some sort of Trading Post or Mechant Site. This is our best coin day ever, but the best find of the day wasn’t even a coin. UNBELIEVABLE!!

I haven’t metal detected in years but I’ve been watching a lot of these videos and it has revived my excitement to start back. So I’m going to blow the dust off my old White’s DXF Spectrum E and hopefully it will still work. The Battle of Stones River was fought here in Murfreesboro and I know Union troops camped less than a quarter mile from my house (in a subdivision) after the battle. So I’m certain they walked on my property at some time when this was a farm. I think I’ll start with my yard. I might even walk down the street and see if neighbors will let me hunt their lots. I’ve seen a lot of videos where you and others are in the middle of huge bare fields and finding lots of relics. How did you research to go to fields? Thanks gentlemen. Really enjoyed this.

WOW 🤩 what a fun hobby. I’m curious as to what the landowners get when folks find such relics? Do y’all pay an upfront fee to metal detect someone’s property or do they require viewing one’s find and maybe take several items for themselves? Do you check land records so as to help determine the usage of the property way back in time? I wonder if there’s a senior citizen treasure hunting group as this would be such an interesting adventure to join in on. 🕵️‍♀️
I’m concerned when y’all start rubbing off the caked on clay or dirt though. I find myself cringing thinking how many unnecessary scratches are being made. Shouldn’t you carry a water squirt bottle or small container with whatever solution might properly clean such? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can't stop watching this one. Every piece of American history you guys uncover gives me chills. Just think about it... once upon a time. Patriots on the 13 colonies marched across miles upon miles , rain, snow, fought through starvation and disease under the command of general Washington's stout spirit, in defiance of tyranny, leaving thier wives, and children behind, many for then last time, so that we today enjoy our freedom, and liberty.
Every coin you uncover, every button and artifact once belonged to a patriot, our ancestors. Or thier counterparts.
I can hear those fife and drum in my head.
Ok, my moment is over. Wow..

Brilliant video guy's. 2 questions. Have you ever thought of using a drone to map an overview at the end of the day of your dig holes to map your finds?. This can give you a great insight into the layout of the settlement you are digging and give you an idea on where to dig next?. Also, if you find a new settlement site, are you obliged to report it to a historical society or government department so it can be added to a central historical record?. Being from the UK, metal detectorists are obliged to log in any significant historical finds with the local museum or historical records dept.
I look forward to following your other escapades, best wishes , cal ;-)

    Hello Guys,,
I am not a metal detector enthusiasts, well that’s not correct:? I am, but have never taken time to get involved in anymore specialty recreation activities than I became involved throughout my life. Do I regret it? Hell yes, but there is only so time in one lifetime and we do what we do and walk the path available to us. But, instead of just pontificating on the shortcomings of a lifetime, I was writing to say that the show was a pleasure to be able to participate in as an observer and now that I am going to be 73 and unfortunately having some mobility problems, I enjoyed sounds of the fields hunting Dove in almost all types of weather across soybean and peanut fields. The long views to the tree-lines that gently followed the slow role of of the coastal plains with the background tree tops giving up the steeper terrain and likely creek in the valley between. You don’t know how much you will miss the simple thing’s. But mostly my profession involved working with the historic Communities and their downtown areas and the history of our nation and everything associated with its founding is a passion, especially when you can hold it in your hands.
One last thing, “The Hoover Boys” name, is it tied to Hoover, Alabama or another state?
Anyway I thank you for an enjoyable and exciting days of beeps and excitement for all of you. A final question please? Do you give or offer the land owner some of the loot specifically since it was as old as it was on this day?
    Best,
    The old professor
    Live free or die!
    Death to all tyrants!
If you can not get behind these historic words, you are on the wrong side!
    No Shit.
