- We found everything we love to find! Our passion is early American coins and relics. We found some incredible old coins! Then we decided to try and find some jewelry at a party beach. We ended up finding 4 rings in under and Hour!! It was treasure overload! We even found Native American Artifacts. It was an Amazing day Metal Detecting in the Water for River Treasure!!

Stephen Foster is a famous American composer. As a Kentuckian I know him for the song “My Old Kentucky Home” sang at the Kentucky Derby every year. I lived a few blocks away from the Downs and you would hear thousands sing it. He also wrote Oh Susanna, Camptown Races and The Swanee River to name a few.

Steven foster medal manufactured by Franklin mint 1975-1976 proof struck, there are 72 in the complete set not sure of the metal type couldn’t find any more info. Stephen Collins Foster (July 4, 1826 - January 13, 1864), known as "the father of American music", was an American composer known primarily for his parlour and minstrel music during the Romantic period.
In 1851, Foster sent Christy a sentimental song, "Old Folks at Home," more commonly known as "Swanee River." By November 1854, the song had sold over 130,000 copies, making it one of Foster's most popular and successful compositions.

Not sure if I'm the only one commenting on the food portion or not (leave it to a chef/fat kid at heart) but those steaks like great Kurt! Muck's version of a steak sandwich is something i can stand by! Being that that was a filet, it was more than tender enough for a sandwich, even if he did add the 'Merica cheese to it lol! Love seeing gold, Iv only found 2 gold rings so far. The first one was an early 1900's 10k signet ring with scrollwork (was later stolen from me at a restaurant lol).
