  • Hey Guys! Welcome Back to the Channel. Today we're just going over how to clean a reusable air filter. The filter we're cleaning today is a K&N Branded filter on a Screamin' Eagle Heavy Breather.     Thanks for the video, mine has the stock heavy breather element that came from Harley, does it have a k&n element ?

    I've got the same filter but it has a red finish to it after you clean it, so you know the model number or part number of your filter which is grey in color? I prefer the grey look 👍

      The filter remains gray until you apply the oil. I ran out at the time of recording and just wanted to publish. I wish they made a Gray one!

    I have this same intake in black on my 14’ Street Glide.
    I take my screaming eagle filter housing completely apart so I can get the filter out so I oil it consistently and don’t make a oily mess out of the metal housing.
    You do know this filter requires oil correct? Did I miss something?

    What tool did you use to remove it?

      I usually use a T-Handle Allen set. Not sure of the exact size off the top of my head

      @@MotoHeadKyle Gotcha. I think mine is a flathead long screw. But for the life of me,m i cant seem to get any of my screwdrivers to work!

      It's a 2018 Breakout. It has the heavy breather kit.

      @@METAAALLLLLLLL if it’s a Harley (screaming eagle) kit those are all Allen screws
