I didn’t like the jump from newly hatched kitten Flerkins suddenly understanding the need to temporarily swallow people for transport… flerkins are known to be temperamental and these ones not only immediately understand English but also immediately comply with the plan?

Im honestly happy they brought back the khan family back they were so freaking hilarious.
They were. Even down to little things like the son using a remote as if wanting to silence his mother for hinting that it's time for grandkids.

When Fury is first holding a Flurkin kitten and it moves he yells "Not my good eye".
I sat down and enjoyed the movie all the way through. Because I didn't set up unrealistic expectations etc and just let myself have fun. And was thoroughly rewarded with that mid credits scene.
that's the key to it. too many people go into wanting it to be something they want and not just see it for what it is and how it bridges the larger story together.

Yeah but if most of the audience wants more and are disappointed then it's on marvel to do better. I shouldn't have to go into a movie with 0 expectations to enjoy it. Especially since all marvel movies are continuing the MCU story. Ofc I have expectations.
Marvel was and I still believe is great because they were consistent. Now it's kinda all over the place.

@@Surya______He played Prince Yan in this movie, but he is a HUGE superstar in S Korea!! There was a massive amount of hype for his debut in Hollywood and MCU, and hopefully we’ll get more screen time with him as Prince Yan in the future because he’s an incredible actor!

But wouldn't the movie be EVEN BETTER if it had a meaningful plot and actually build the characters so that we get to know them better?
One of the problems I've been having is that the silliness often doesn't match the characters or the stakes. For me, the Aladna scene (which I was dreading) felt fun and earned because Iman Vellani managed to serve as a bridge to the singing and dancing culture of South Asia, and the character looked so comfortable in this totally bizarre situation. I don't want much more of Aladna, but it felt earned in this movie.

Based on Valkyrie’s clothing, I’m confident that The Marvels takes place before Thor: Love and Thunder.
I also think it may end up being before Secret Invasion chronologically.
I think that Carol moved into Monica's house to make sure no one else moves into it. Just like how there were so many homeless that Ant Man's daughter was trying to defend for losing their homes from the blip.
I really enjoyed this film! I feel like if you were to watch Ms. Marvel in its entirety, and get up and go to the theatre, this movie really works. Could you watch WandaVision or even Captain Marvel directly beforehand and get the same appreciation, I’m not sure. But that’s okay because it’s clear that Iman Vellani is the future of the MCU.

How did it play out when, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, and any other country said they wouldn't cooperate with the US government in capturing Osama bin laden? They are considered enemies of the country and are treated as such
If they know about the skrulls and officials aren’t the “have to see it to believe it” type folks, then they’d best sign. Realistically, only Wakanda, Talokan, Russia and China could take them on if they’re stubborn (basing off of real life stats, excluding the first 2 obviously).

Really enjoyed the movie! Iman was such a gem. I think this film has a mountain of issues but I really enjoyed so much of it. I think it's a vast improvement over the first film and is so much better than Quantumania and Thor 4.

I’m well aware the internet is going to crap all over this movie but I LOVED it so much and it’s legitimately one of my absolute favourite MCU movies now. It was fun, emotional at times but was able to stick to the overall narrative and set up SO MUCH in the future! 😃

After watching it, while watching the credits roll, I actually muttered to myself "I really liked this movie" and looked around me, almost worried someone would over hear me. (Which is funny because my theater was packed and there was clapping at the end, which was kinda heartening, not gonna lie.)

Yet again I don't get what people are so mad about, just got back from the movie and I loved it. All three have amazing chemstry, I loved the pay offs with the bands and the actions was incredible. The fact that it was inspired from Advent Children just makes me even more happy with the movie. I won't say it was flawless but no movie is and that's perfectly ok.

Regarding the water of Aladna, there is that one Saber cadet who says the planets will make a full recovery, so presumably relief efforts were arranged to help Aladna recover, along with other damaged worlds the Kree may have targeted
Aladna might be fine, but the Skrull colony will not, any Skrull left there will have died instantly as soon as the atmosphere failed.
Its just water. Now they will have more land to live. Anyhow it is 96% water losing some does not make any difference.

I hope Eric and Jessica continue the Daredevil breakdowns! I really enjoyed The Marvels. Kamala and her family were my favorite. I love that it's setting up Young Avengers, but I'm so sad the team won't include Hulkling. Teddy and Billy are such a great couple. Granted, Disney would probably find a way to straight-wash them or diminish their relationship. Wiccan and Hulkling forever.

I like to believe that Captain Marvel's nickname The Annihilator has some similarities to Xandar's Annihilation Wave. Both were shocking traumatic experiences for both planets. Hala and Xandar.
I enjoyed the movie. I can't believe people are being so harsh on it. It's really good.
I enjoyed the trio's dynamic and chemistry! Iman edged the two a bit but they were all good. This is definitely better than Capt. Marvel 1, quantumania & thor 4.
Also, i was just thinking how much Iman and Kate would gel well together in the middle of the movie, so naturally i was ecstatic when the first credits scene played out.

I enjoyed this movie so much more then I have any other marvel movie in a long time. Most movies have become simply another superhero themed action adventure. The marvels pull back to the heart of where these superhero’s first are introduced. It was like watching a comic book come to life, with all the strange characters and places. My husband and I watched it first last night then, less then 24 hours later we took our children to watch it today. They said it was one of the best movies they have ever seen. They adored Kamala especially, loved the scenes were they kept switching, laughed through the singing world and adored the cats eating people to the song Memories. We will own this. I hope it does ok. I’m really concerned it’s not going to get the love and support it deserves.

This movie was a TON of fun. It's almost as if it's a re-skinned GotG 1, and it works.
Considering you can travel in no time to points very far away using those jump-points, I think Carol just grabbed a small ship, went through a jump-point and appeared in the planet right on time. That's what I thought when I watched this.
I just came from watching the movie and I must say, it defintely has its flaws, but overall I really enjoyed it.
More than I thought I would, honestly.
I came away appreciating Carol Danvers more than I did before, and Kamala was my fave. Loved Monica's theme of being a slight fish out of water going through the adventures and being the more grounded character.
Never watched Hawkeye series, gonna do that now...

It's a good movie, people r so negative. It's a fun,funny,cute, and cool movie all together. And the fight scenes throughout the entire movie are really really cool definitely the best in a long time and just as good as THAT fight scene in gotg3

The biggest takeaways from this movie was that it was safe and fun. An overall enjoyable movie. Wouldn’t matter if it was or wasn’t from Marvel. Impressive.
I might be in the minority but I absolutely LOVED ❤❤❤ The Marvels I fully enjoyed it throughout I really hope we get the trio fighting together again 😊

It was enjoyable. Perfectly fine entry to the mcu. Carol was a lot more likable and relatable.
Movie had a few issues, but it wasn’t enough to effect how much I love them together! The first action or fight scene in the house was awesome
I find that the best fight scene in a movie is often one of the earlier, technically less epic ones.

What will always bother me about Rhodes being a Skrull is that the War Machine suit was only coded to work for Tony and Rhodes. So even if a skull can copy the appearance, how can they copy the other things that would be checked in a suit like that? I'd imagine it would also be able to tell if Skrull Rhodes was talking in the wrong voice at any point and relay the info to Tony. Also the upgraded version of the War Machine suit in Endgame really had no biological check to make sure it had the correct user?

In captain marvel we learned that skrulls can imitate even the DNA of the one they're imitating. That should answer all your queries.

I believe that The Marvels movie happened before Secret Wars as that's how it most makes sense to me.
This makes sense for a movie this far into the MCU where for anyone that has been following along the whole time get a huge payoff but for anyone else it doesn't make any narrative sense. I understand why a ton of people don't like this but I have no idea why it's flopping outside of fatigue, this is a super fun movie

As somebody who has been obsessed with carol danvers ,and kamala khan for close to 10 years this movie was everything i couldve hoped for their first onscreen team up was awesome is it a prefect movie ? No but it is the most fun Ive had with an MCU movie in years and left me excited to see carol ,monica ,and kamala's stories go in the MCU from heres i would give it a solid 7/10.

This was actually an unexpectedly decent movie. Glad I gave it a shot.
If Carol is moving into Monica’s house then that means she’s going to be on earth a lot more and probably in the middle of the Skrull conflict…so that would be awesome as long as Brie Larson sticks around but I wouldn’t blame her if she left the role considering how she’s been treated by so called fans. It’s ridiculous.
I gotta keep coming to these videos to say this… it’s not the Fox universe. It’s Fox actors portraying X-men from the animated universe. Charles in MoM was animated Charles, not Fox Charles. This version of beast is X-men 92 beast, NOT Fox Beast. The theme that they used in the Ms Marvel series to reveal Kamala’s mutant status was the animated theme. Disney/marvel are setting up the animated X-men as the alternate universe mutants. I know they used the movie themes in The Marvels, but that Hank design was clearly the cartoon design.
