It's a Chinese dragon. Generally depicted as a four-legged animal with a scaled, snakelike body, horns, claws, and large, demonic eyes, the long was considered the king of animals, and its image was appropriated by Chinese emperors as a sacred symbol of imperial power.

Myths has it that chinese dragons ruled the sea with the kingdoms in the north, South, east, and west. They also control the weather and has a staff that controls the tides of the sea. WuKong stole one of them to make it his weapon thus unleasing a flood onto a village. The staff is much bigger and heavier than you can imagine 😅

@@MidnightHorizons this is based on a old medieval Chinese story of the “Journey to the west” set in Ancient Tang Dynasty China - Fun fact: Son Goku/Dragon Ball Z is also based on this legendary story too (“Goku” is the Japanese name for “Wukong”)

That's an asian dragon. Big different with dragon you usually see. And it looks great. You can look it up, in our culture, Dragon like a God of Ocean.
