    Can't wait to see footage of this thing on batteries- it's already fantastic and you haven't even started converting it yet! Incredible work.

    What stage chopping block kit did you use?
    I am about to start on my 64 sedan and I want it to lay frame, this one looks like it will still have a few inch's clearance. Can you make the chopping block kit lay frame? Thanks so much.

    What did the new rear end come out of? What will swap in easily so I can get rid of that Dana 53?

    What rear end did you use for the car? I have a 61 that I’m wanting to put one in. Also what front disc brake setup did you use? Jamco makes a lot. Are they any good or junk?

    I called lincoln land and asked about that set up for my 64. They did I would need a 65-69 booster as well and they are very hard to find. There is a company in Texas that offers a kit for front and back with new booster and master cylinder. I just don't want to run into a problem. I'm wondering if it's the same company you tried to use?

      Strange. We didn't use a 65-69 booster and it is working great. The company is Classic Disk Brakes.

      mitchmedford did you upgrade or modify the master cylinder?

    • @mitchmedford
      @mitchmedford  Před 7 lety

      Nope, just flush and clean. However, we will be replacing the booster/master cylinder setup when the electric conversion is done because we will use an electric brake setup. What I can tell you for sure is that the car's brakes just fine with the old setup and the disk brakes from the 65-69 setup. We were a little concerned about proportioning, but everything is working great right now.

      Angel, with aftermarket brakes for the LCs it requires a minimum of 17-inch wheel. On a 64 I'm getting ready to pickup I'm upgrading to 65 front disc brakes. That way I can roll the 15s and white walls when I want. On my 67 I kept the org brakes so I can also roll 15s when I want to. CPP or Baer both makes aftermarket setups for these cars.

      Check with Tim Nill at Lincoln-Ranch dot com. He prob has a booster. I sent my 67 booster to Booster Dewey (Google him) and will rebuild it. The 67 boosters are awesome. CPP recommends simply reusing it.
