That beat slappin and that's the swap
Man i would love to see part 3. Just picked up a Coyote for my 68 and thinking about buying this kit.
We have a bunch of new parts ready to ship at www.detroitdeviant.com
This is a really nice series you’re putting together. I’ll keep checking in on the progress.
Thank you. I'm trying hard to bring quality well edited content.
That harness is really not as bad when you lay it out. It is for sure deceiving in a pile.
man I want to put an m120 drive train into a 1975 Lincoln so bad.
Where is part three of this swap
Working on it. Had some delays. But tunnel and floor is done, custom driveshaft done, exhaust done. We will be working and filming this weekend. Cooling system, wiring still need to be done.
Oh dang just by looking at the wires I don't want to do a swap anymore.
It is not that bad. Actually eliminate a lot of old wires. the engine and trans have their own harness and we use a new custom "body"harness. Almost plug and play.
I’ve been trying to find out if the Lincoln is the same platform as a 67-69 thunderbird. I think a sway would be easy
They were built on the same production line with some similar parts. What specifically are you asking about?
@@SpiralDesignWorks sorry. I’m asking about the engine bay fitment. I don’t believe the 67-71 t-bird had shock towers. Thanks
Hi I have a 75 L continental at want to put a coyote can u me help with that? Thx
Hello hello I just saw a video of an LS swap and it looks a lot easier.... Do you think you guys can do one on a 64 conv.
Yeah LS motors are tiny and fit just about anywhere. For many they just can't deal with the idea of a chevy or hemi in a Lincoln. We are currently booked well into 2022.
What year coyote motor works best for a 61 Continental? I heard some years don’t work too well? How true is this? Thx in advance.
ALL the 61-69 will require cutting of the "frame" to fit the very wide engine and custom headers which we sell on our website. I recommend upgrading (?) to the smaller 66-69 (probably a whole bunch of later years and models) steering box. Gives more room for headers
@@SpiralDesignWorks you guys are out of the aluminum radiators??
Can you tell me what gas tank you guys used and fuel pump?
We used a inline pump with filter regulator combo.
Is there a part 3?
Working on it. There were some delays in the build. We are hoping to fire it up this weekend and I have been working on the part 3 edit. soon....
How much you guys charge to do this swap to a 62 Lincoln convertible let me know thanks
As you can see there is a lot involved and a lot of variables. Could be any where from $20-35k easy. We basically have it down to a science now.
Do you have a swap kit for a 61 Continental?
Yes most of the stuff you need is on my website www.detroitdeviant.com
Sick fuking car, how much the engine cost tho?
The engine and transmissions are $8-12k depending on mileage, new etc. Plan to spend another $10k on misc. parts. plus labor for install.
