- Hello, the vehicle we repaired today is a Nissan Sylphy with a deformed C-pillar and roof. The rear quarter panel is also damaged and needs to be replaced at the same time. The total cost is about $3,000. What do you think of this repair? Is there any excessive repair? Please leave your comments

in your country it costs little to repair this type of damage, whereas here in Italy it costs from 15,000 to 18,000 thousand US dollars to repair this damage. Anyway, great job, you're really good
I honestly doubt this costs 15k - 18k even in Italy. Maybe if the car is a Mercedes or some other luxury brand, but for a more regular car, I'd say somewhere around 10k.

Trust me, I live in Italy, then for a job like this you wait 6 months before picking up your repaired car
idk if it'd cost that much in the US. My friend's car was in a worse shape than this Nissan and it cost him just under $4k USD

Can't really judge from a vidjayo but this is about the 1st proper repair job I've seen this guy do.
Most of his work is just replacing damaged panels/ sections not really repair hard to get it wrong

Uuuhhh... Probably a lot more than that for sure. Getting a new rear door skin and some lower quarter panel work done on my 2017 VW Alltrack (thanks to my neighbor) and it's costing the insurance Co just a hair under $5K.

No way you can fix it for 7k in US. $30k is more realistic, that's why insurance companies typically just total it and send it to junkyard.

Welding is was known as Inducers once upon a time frame. I am not 109% sure, but I have a reconciliation about the year it was introduced @ thinking of 1662.😊

U.K. insurance companies are not interested in this extent of repairs, it’s much cheaper for them to just write the car off and quickly pay the client so they can get another car without incurring potential extended period courtesy car costs
Unfortunately, the "experts" appear to disqualify the excellent work of the professional; the damaged parts were replaced, the new ones were aligned and even the factory welding points were redone, seals, perfect external and internal painting, etc. It was completely recovered and without defects.
