Mark Jackson tells Shannon that MJ & Kobe were the toughest to guard and they are the only ones who would take their last breath on the court to get a win. “Mike and Kobe just thought ‘attack’ every single moment on the floor. The mentality and the way they wear you down with their approach was like none other.”

No one is downgrading kobe. Yes he had the drive, heart, competitive and skills but Jordan just had all that kobe possessed with a bit more talent. Jordan was quicker, had bigger hands had a better first step, jumped higher, played defense at a higher level and was more creative with the basketball. There is no shame coming in second to jordan but Jordan was just on another level. Jordan played 15 seasons. you can discount 2 seasons with the wizards. 1 season where he broke his foot. one season where he he came back late from retirement. In 11 full seasons, he led the league in scoring minus his rookie year where he still scored 28ppg and won 6 titles in that span. You will never see a more dominant run where he won 2 back to back three peat in a 7 year span. Its like asking Brady to win 6 superbowls in 7 years. Brady needed 21 seasons to even surpass jordan's 6 titles. Thats basically a whole decade to win one more title than jordan. No one can compare to Jordan during his hey day, its just that simple

My son played basketball in Moreno Valley when he was 11. One of his team mates was Kawhi Leonard. I watched him a couple of games and I knew he was going to the NBA and was going to excel. He was FAST and handled the ball way beyond his years.

For Shannon thinking lebron is the greatest he surely speaks of Michael Jordan and his killer mentality and how he was unguardable very much.

Mark Jackson made a Great point. Actually gotta put Kobe over Lebron on that one. One game everything on the line.
