This was one of the first videos I watched when buying a new labtop, I really enjoyed the video but felt the 1650 was to lack luster, along with the screen 60hz, & 8gb of ram. I went looking for other options like the Helios 300, I eventually "rediscovered" the Strix g 531gu varient of this labtop that addressed all of my concerns, with a 1660 ti, 120 Hz panel & 16 GB of RAM. this baby actually performs really great the monitor and the display is neat and the processor is powerful, though im only using the core i5 9th gen but still held to it's name. The only problem is that there are still few frame drops here and there in other game though I kept all my visual graphic to medium and for performance base only.
after much consideration i've decided to purchase this laptop and boy am i not disappointed! this laptop is the best bang for buck for intermediate gamers; i can run cs go at 150-200 fps at high settings and league of legends at 170 fps high settings no problem and everything is so smooth. i also especially love the way this laptop looks, the keyboard feels really nice, the aesthetics are on point, i cannot find anything to say wrong about this laptop! one of the best purchases i've ever made so far!

i'd rather a more mechanical keyboard and the trackpad is sketchy wish this model came with the 120hz display and thunderbolt port would make it worth the price!!
I bought it at CA $1160, which is pretty good, because I was not able to find Helios P300s in this price range I am just going to upgrade the RAM to a 16gb dual channel , maybe add a 1TB HDD in there to make it amazing at gaming.
After having this for nearly 3 years, the one downside is the charger port being absolutely flawed. Mine for some reason will only charge when the charger barrel in angled. Feels so bad 😔

i have the GTX 1650 8 GB RAM one and it works very well for games thus far. Gonna test a few heavier games and see how it does. Was easily getting 140+ frames on fortnite and even over 200 on csgo not on max settings.

I’m kind of graphic designer and photographer, so I use indesign, illustrator, ps, lightroom... u know some basic adobe programs and occasionally i like to edit some videos (premiere, after eff.) and play some games (csgo, mc...) and like i said for me it works really good.

Close the armoury crate application using the Task manager. then re open it. Your issue would have been already fixed after a restart.
The ram is maxed out at 2666Mhz right? I cant upgrade over that thats what its like on the 1660ti version.
