  • On this episode we examine the Chris Ward C60 Trident and it's various releases over the years, comparing and contrasting the refinements from model to model, all the way up to their latest release in the C60 Trident Mk3. This latest release marks the 10th anniversary of the Trident line and although, this is the furthest departed from the original, it's also the absolute best C60 there's ever been. Personally, I look forward to seeing what they do next and expect good things to come from the eventual mid-cycle refresh. What do you want to see in the next Trident, let me know what you think in the comments below, thanks guys!

I enjoyed the video. It was fun to see the progression of the C60 line. Your C60 Mk 2 has a push button micro-adjust so it's a later model. The original ones didn't have this. My C60 Mk 2 has had the quick release bracelet added.
The C60 was released in 2009 with the water drop hands. The Bremont Supermarine was released in 2010 and didn't have the hand set it has now for a while. So who copied whom? If Christopher Ward had the hands first then, arguably Bremont copied CW and not the other way round. SO the references to CW copying Bremont is a bit irritating. Keep up the good work.

I love the hands and wave dial of the Mk2. I have one of those in a 38mm size and white dial. It's the perfect size for me, though I'm one of those rare women in the world of watch enthusiasts, and I can see how the 38mm might be too small for many men. The Mk3 has some nice details, but also seems, . . . I dunno, . . . a bit boring. Hands and flat face are meh.

Great walk through on the C60 lineage. I do believe the C60 Mk3 is the best version. Just the case and bracelet design and quality are enough for me, but the rest of it just comes together for the coup de grace.

Yeah, if you check out my original Mk2 reviews you'll see there's one titled, now with quick adjust clasp. It wasn't part of the initial release because it wasn't ready in time. As for Bremont, do a bit more research and you'll find the Supermarine with the hands existed back in 2009. CW has taken a lot of inspiration from Bremont over the years, across various models, it's not really debatable at this point.
