I can't remove the blue bypass cap. Push, pull, left, right . . . nothing works. I know it's supposed to be a 1/4 turn counter clockwise, but it doesn't budge at all. Can you help me?
My problem is that I can't see why I need an expensive filter if I'm using city water that is treated. I am concerned though, about leaving an old filter installed as it could be actually getting my clean water dirty. I'd take it out but I suspect that would let water run inside the fridge. Anybody know the answer? I wouldn't trust the company to answer truthfully... they're just interested in selling filters.
Y do filters don’t last? I bought water filter haven’t use it over 4 or 5 times since I bought it in late July or early August and it is telling me I need to buy another filter. So Y do they go bad when u don’t use it.
Not that easy to remove used filter (#4). I had to use a channel lock to be able to get ahold of filter to turn it. It didn't want to drop down for the easier access until filter completely unscrewed. Much easier putting new filter in.
What's great is that if it doesn't come nicely, the entire assembly is made of plastic so there's no way anything could possibly break. Oh, wait. This is just a terrible design.
This is an excellent how-to video! Thank you!
Thank you very helpful 🙏🏻
It is a pain in the neck to replace these water filters. The filter gets stuck in the up position and will not drop to replace it.

They didn't say it went bad. They said you need to buy a new one because they need your money.
