we always have quail hunted with a 12 gauge, but the last 3 years I have switched to a 410 and I love it. much more sporting.

I bought mine from Cheaper than Dirt and was about $100 cheaper than if you could find one in stock at a sporting goods store. Yes.... shipping and FFL fee of $15 but what a beautiful and fun little shotgun! I'm shooting 2-1/2 inch high brass Federal #6 shot and it brings in rabbits and squirrels for supper!! It's awesome for teaching the younger ones about hunting and shooting without punishing their shoulders. The single shot is their favorite until now! This is one the grandkids will squabble over in a few years! Nice videos and great information. Thank you

From the lowcountry, S.C. Watched your vid 3-4 times on different days. You're good! Will pick up this week from Rivertown Auction Co. (Aynor, S.C.) a 20 gauge Setter S/T for clays & field. BUT, I held this gun NIB (your 410) that they have in their online auction this week, and loved it, have to have it. Will go their store Thursday for final bidding. If I don't win it for a good deal, I'll order it! As nice as any 410 auto out there, big $ guys included. Think I'll watch this video again. Man you're fast! Regards, Rick

Just what the doctor ordered!! I’ve been waiting for this one! Nice shooting and info, may have to get a 12 first, but this auto loader in .410 is really sweet, changeable chokes, beautiful wood, 3 inch chamber, reliability, and a chrome lined barrel...what more could you ask from a .410?!?!
I am going to get a 12 and eventually a 20 just to have one of each. These are under rated shotguns in my opinion. Yes they are made in Turkey but they are a lot of gun for the money.

I'll admit that I'm not familiar with this brand of shotgun and haven't seen one up close yet, but so far I really like the looks of it ! 😊 Believe that I'll do some research and see if I can put my paws on one to see how it feels !

Ken Gamble these are made in Turkey 🇹🇷, as are MANY shotguns to include the Weatherby SA-08 models . Anyone who knows anything about Turkish made firearms ( specifically shotguns) knows that their craftsmanship is top notch 😉 many firearms manufacturers send their barrels to Turkey to have them backbored and finished ( but they don’t tell you these things) even some of the fine Italian made shotguns have some of their parts made in these factories over in Turkey . Bottom line is, they’re putting out some very fine shotguns in Turkey , all machining, made and assembled on the same lines , hand cut checkering and hand fitted , and they come out with different various logos of each respective firearms manufacturers nameplate. Same guns , just a different badge . I’m telling you the truth . This is a great gun for that money 💰💴

I'm not a big fan of what Remington's doing with ALL the Brand's they're picking up.. I'm afraid they may be getting in-line with a Gun Control move that ONLY they Know is coming.... Only hope I've got is I Hope & Pray it's a Wrong move on they're Part.. I remember Smith& Wesson getting in bed with the Clinton's back in the 90s on a Control deal ... some may have forgotten.. I NEVER Will... Never Will Buy a S&W either...far as I'm concerned..they don't exsist! I've got My Older Stuff.. never a new s&w though!

Wow ! Great video and I must say a very nice shotgun indeed . I have a Remington 870 wingmaster in .410 bore , 23” barrel and a fixed modified choke . It is a very nice handling shotgun and it’s also very lightweight and pleasant to shoot . But I would like this Tri Star semiautomatic, I believe my Remington pump cost $670.00 , and I think this shotgun here looks like a quality nicely finished product. I just wish the price of .410 ammo wasn’t so outrageous, there’s really no justification for ammo manufacturers to be raping us for .410 ammo . Just saying

I haven't read through all the comments, so I don't know if someone else has brought this up, but I believe that if the gun holds 3+1, then that's one too many to meet the Feds Waterfowl requirement. If I remember correctly, the gun can only hold 3 rounds total. I had a Remington 1100 my dad bought me for Christmas one year. Killed a lot of rabbits with that gun. Wish I had never gotten rid of it. Love the smaller gauges also.

Do you know of any aftermarket choke tubes for the Remington 1100/870 for 410?
I jus picked one up for my son and think it’s really nice. What I notice though is the vent rib actually sits below the receiver height, which differs from every other shotgun I own. This makes it slightly more difficult to quickly acquire a “sight picture”. Thoughts?
Im a small bore man myself, in fact as I got older I just figured id give the game a fairer chance. It just seems the 12 GA was to easy to hit small game. I love my little remington 11-58s in 28 ga. Even over my 1100 Remington 410 which ways as much as a 12ga to carry. What they were thinking im not sure but its going to be sold hasn't had a shell shot out of it and its twenty-five years old in my safe she sits. Think ill pick up one of these or there sxs 410 or 28.

I just bought the same gun. Had some problems with it. First was when you load the second 3" shell into the magazine, if the first shell is not centered you cant push the second shell in. A bit frustrating. I See yours just slide right in easy. The second problem the bolt release is very tight. I have to smack it hard to release. I tried more lube but the same. Then when I want to manually lock the bolt back it does not hold very well and can release without warning. Almost got my finger in the way. I am hopeful its only a break in issue. Other than that it fires perfectly. And what choke should be used for slugs?
