- Here is how to make a very similar Raising Cane's sauce for all your fried chicken needs. Although their sauce recipe is a highly-regarded secret, this recipe comes close! Here are the ingredients:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Can you tell the difference between the two sauces at the end? - Jak na to + styl
Add lemon juice, cajun seasoning, more pepper, and salt and it becomes more accurate
How much cajun seasoning?
Exact measurements dude
@@buttercup5920probably 1/2 teaspoon of it.
Any brand of cajun seasoning recommended ?
@@wolfman011000 maybe tony cacheries Creole seasoning
You are missing the crack. I'm pretty sure it has crack in it amd that's why I'm addicted.

lol fr
This recipe is missing 1 key igredient, LEMON JUICE! I tried this exact recipe from the video and cried, until someone said to add lemon juice, THEN it tasted like real cane's sauce.
How much lemon juice?
@@sandivaughn7006 I used 1 tablespoon
@@jasminemcgee6082 thanks!
Yep, Lemon juice.
Fresh lemon juice is so often the missing link in so many recipes :)
I worked at canes since I was 16, you forgot the lemon juice and smoked paprika. only trusted GMs and district supervisors knew the recipe. but I was the one having to mix it up and put them into cups. I oversaw them using lemon and the paprika. we had big Hobart mixers and used 2 5 gallon buckets of mayo to 1 5 gallon ketchup.
I know bro got kidnapped by canes after this
@@evilmc.nuggets9983 LMAOA he know too much fr
Can confirm the lemon juice and paprika was missing for it to be exact
❤ it I used A1 sauce instead my son loves it! Tfs
delicious recipe! I tried it and it tasted like the real deal!! ❤
This is the best one 😍
I've made batches of this now and then to go with home-made chicken nuggets (and fries) but aside from the lemon juice mentioned by someone else, I found a dash of paprika also is a welcome addition. I wish I could give a more accurate measurement but as I tend to make a batch roughly four times this size, the dash is really more to taste than otherwise.
What's the shelf life if you make batches? Thanks.
@@rachelannehqI honestly don't know...
... it's usually gone in two days. :)
Fast. Simple. Straight forward 😏 Great Video
Random tip, add a small splash of balsamic. Its not canes sauce anymore but its crazy good
can i use it in place of worcestershire sauce
@e.n85784 def not, it just elevates it. Worchestershire is still an essential part
We add 1 teaspoon of lemon pepper +1/4 teaspoon black pepper rather than just black pepper. Some times we use lime pepper depending on what we are pairing the sauce with.
Add lemon juice
I did this but I added lime juice and it tasted a lot more like canes then
I know many people that have made the sauce at Cane's. Neighbors that are management, and they do not put lemon juice in Raising Cane's sauce.
TypicallyUnique you obviously don’t want people to stop providing your little friends with business lmao
raising canes glowie
It didn’t work is there a specific seasonings and sauce that you supposed to use?
Specific brands of sauce and seasonings*
What kind of mayonaise am I supposed to use? I only have light mayonaise and I'm not sure if it will work
Use Hellmann’s Mayonnaise, its the best mayo you can get.
Heavy Hellman's Mayonnaise
Southern Mississippi Comeback sauce is very close to Cane's sauce.
Key #2. Add a pinch of cayenne for a good cajun taste.
Can I use Soy sauce insteadof Worcestershire sauce?
Did it taste the same?
@@angelramirez9524 practically the same.
I just made it 1/8-1/4 c of pepper this recipe has wayyyy tooooo much
1/2 c Mayo
1/4 c ketchup
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Only difference is less pepper!!!

The "secret" is a pinch of molasses
Lol yea sure it is
Forgot the lemon pepper…
