I'm still disappointed we haven't seen Joel making out with one of his true loves: bricks and bottles.
Another overlooked difference in Tess’s death is her choice of words in trying to get Joel to complete the mission. She says something along the lines of “I never asked you to feel the way i did” as opposed to “there’s enough here that you have to feel some sort of obligation to me.” To me that implies their relationship in the show was much more one-sided and I think that’s highlighted by the fact that Joel seemed to be less emotional about Tess dying than in the game.
I had hope to see how the team died but I realized when Joel and the gang heard that infected scream out in the distance I imagined that when the Fireflies were attacked... Atleast that's my head cannon
🤦 the infected horde can sense the activation of the tendrils in the museum. They can't smell the bottom of Joel and Ellie's shoes and sniff them out through the trees. They were long out of sight before the infected show up.
I’m waiting to watch the show when it all releases but I’m still gonna drop in every week for those views, baby! And a like. Keep up the great content 👊🏻
What if the flash backs are similar to gene scenes and we get one at the start of ever ep

This episode blew my expectations away
Hey there Kiwi. Love the deep dives you've done on BB & BCS . Watched LOU and wasnt that impressed,however , I love Pablo in The Mandalorian. Are you a fan ? Great Star wars canon . Done right by Favreau . Also you need to disect The Sopranos & Peaky Blinders ,as these shows on level of BB BCS. Just spitballing to keep you busy ! If you havent seen Peaky Blinders(Netflix) . or The Sopranos(HBO Max). Do yourself a favor . Also if ur a LOTR fan Rings of power on Amazon may just be something . I didnt hate it. Pretty cool show. If you like Star wars ,see s. 1&2 of Mandolorian as s.3 airs in March . Great channel ! Also Giancarlo Espisito also stars in the Mando & is awesome as the evil Mof Giddeon . A villan almost as scary as Fring !Scarier than Vader !
I love apocalypse shows/zombie genre + TLOU game so the show is right up my alley. Also big fan of Pedro from GoT & Narcos.
Haven’t seen much Star Wars but I plan to, Sorpranos is goated, peaky blinders is on my Netflix watch list.

You might actually check out the "Talking Sopranos" Podcast on YT it was done by 2 actors on the show and is a very good cast like yours ! You really have a great thing here! Love your stuff.

@@loganklein5031 I started watching TLOU and again I'm a big fan of Pedro . I guess cause I never played the game I just didnt really get the whole apocolypse thing it has.I'm gonna give it another run and stay focused . I actually forgot all about the Mando . It junped the shark so I'm done but 1st 2 seasons were good for me . I am most definitely done with Star wars nonsense . I'm pretty much done with everything new at this point .
I wonder if they don't have the spore storyline in the show because people are over wearing/seeing masks.

Damn I hope she doesn't get a gun by ep 4. The show is amazing but that would be a bit too fast for my liking. Even though that would fit within the game timeline.
I'm not going to watch this show till it’s over, but the reviews give me a measure of hope. It looks good.
Unless you don’t have HBO and you waiting to create a free trial to binge watch. Just watch it. It’s extremely good for fans and non fans. First two episodes are already 10/10
No spores in this iteration. Creators commented it was too difficult to realistically portray in a screen adaptation. Personally, I don’t like that change a whole lot but it’s understandable from a writing/production standpoint
Possible the producers didn’t want to put their lead actors in gas masks for a significant amount of the runtime
The kiss was incredibly off-putting. Ruined what otherwise would've been a great episode. Took an 8/10 down to 6/10, IMO. You're right about the grenade, too. I've read both sides RE: Tess's death and while I appreciate the show trying to focus more on "realism", this was just a cringy artistic choice by the creators who clearly prioritized shock value/sexualization over honoring the original characterization. I don't know if that was an HBO thing, but it was in poor taste (no pun intended).

I never played the game enjoyed first episode switched off 2 thirds threw the second kinda boring 🥱
It's the first episode, what do you expect lol its not gonna be extremely fast paced in its pilot
