I was not expecting that bloater scene to go that hard
That's how people get their heads ripped in half. They underestimate the bloater 🤣
I think an interesting talking point is having this version of Henry never having killed someone. To me at least, it was implied that in the game that Henry was similar to Joel (in that they did what they had to in order to survive). It also adds that an interesting layer in Henry shooting himself, on top of killing his brother, he would be reminded that the first person he ever killed was in fact his brother. Overall, a really great episode all in all.
The Henry and Sam story is my favorite story in the game!
Man, I really wish these videos were just as popular as your BCS and BrBa videos, because the quality in these is just as good as those!

I dont think tlou season 2 is gonna be "revenge bad" theres gonna be a huge remix. But i think the major events are going to be the same tho. There just gonna be more bigger broadcast of what the game was trying to say

I think they used these two episodes to try and adapt some of the themes of the last of us part 2 since they didn’t know if they’d get a season 2. The resistance really reminds me of the WLF and how they like to act like they’re better than FEDRA despite being just as bad if not worse.

I enjoy your reviews of this show, and will continue to watch, but I've noticed a major difference between your BB/BCS reviews and this. With BB/BCS you focus on the content and subtext and overall production and acting.
With The Last Of Us being adapted from source material, it feels like most of your focus tends to be on how well it pays homage to that source material. Maybe I'm only noticing it because I never played the games. For all I know, the gaming crowd is frothing at the mouth for reviews like that. They're likely the majority, so by all means, give them what they want. Just making an observation.
I do plan on covering other shows more like how I cover BCS/BrBa. For tlou, I probably shouldn't compare the show to the game so much, but I can't help it. It's what makes me the most excited, and since I know what happens in the games its difficult to enjoy it just as a show on its own. It's not a fresh experience for me.
Why was this episode on a Saturday ?
To not be overshadowed by the Super Bowl today.
