- This is a film about the dewatered section and "Lost Canal" of the Northern section of the Lancaster canal between the hamlet of Stainton to the town of Kendal, Cumbria.
This is my first post so I do hope you enjoy it. There will be many more to come.
Filmed with Sony a7iii ground shots. Drones; Mavic Platinum and Phantom 3 Pro - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I cycled the Tewitfield to Kendal section today, quite bizarre to find a bridge in the middle of a field. Just like I had stumbled on the remains of a previous existence, which I suppose I had. Oh for it to have still been there. The canal that is. Thank you for the video.
During this lockdown I have been researching and walking both the canal and also the old Arnside to hincaster railway ...there is a book that has just come out about the railway ...could be your next video as go go hand in hand
@@bettybarnes1641 you might enjoy this CZcams video regarding the branch line. It is a simulated rail journey along that branch showing all the little sidings and last stations. czcams.com/video/oqflImNV_Rk/video.html

Glad you liked it thank you
Nobody in the area refers to the A590 as the A Five Nine Zero. They simply call it the A5 ninety.....
