Thanks for sharing this. You certainly had perfect weather. This is probably one of the most beautiful drives in the UK or even in the world. I last did most of this trip 15 months ago. Mine had different start & destination. I'm hoping next May to be driving from a campsite called Greaves farm South East of Windermere, passing the latter, following your route but turning off right before Keswick, take the A66 to the Rheged centre near Penrith for breakfast, then join the M6 for Scotland. Boy am I looking forward to it, especially after being trapped by this Covid malarky!
👍👍👍👍👍 I love driving in the countryside, just uploading a new drive video, too Check out my new travel channel, please czcams.com/channels/JsfB05DVh-0jA5tb5nrw2w.html Thanks 😊

Kendal's bigger than I thought. This is a treat because my experience of Kendal ( & Inverness) as a driver is my memory of the one way systems, which make me tend to avoid it now!

Kendal has a population of around 30k these days. That will rise though, because dozens of new houses are going up all over the place..... Over 100 new homes are being built in my village alone.....
Jacek, well done bud. Next time time take the Western Road and drive over Thirrlmere's dam. It's reminiscent of Loch Lomond......but quieter ....meet "The General" and chill below Raven Crag.....great video bud.
Loved the video im afraid i fast forwarded thru the boring bit to bout 15 as u prefer rest if journey onwards woukd prefer journey penrith to windemere😉
Might be a good idea to have the camera securly fixed to where you want it to be. That would save having to drag it back to the original position. And there's always the safety angle to consider too. Don't want you coming a cropper for the sake of moving the camera. Do we?

Driving from Kendal to Keswick is the most scenic road in England? Mmm, you've not driven over Butter Tubs pass in North Yorkshire, have you? It's one of Jeremy Clarkson's favourite driving routes......

Hardly the most scenic road in the UK - try driving through Snowdonia or Bala, Yorkshire or Scotland. English roads suck, too much traffic and too many potholes.
In my opinion the most scenic roads in the UK are the passes within the Lake District, like the Honister Pass and the Wrynose Pass and of course the Hardknott Pass as the most challenging one.
It is one of the most scenic major roads(A Roads) in England ,although there are many smaller roads that would claim such a title. A nice film nevertheless.
awesome architecture everywhere, britain´s built environment is second to none. thank you
Thanks for that.....I was born in Kendal and lived in Keswick for 3 years.
done this trip so many times. feels like home. love it love it love it.
Beautiful. From Indiana USA
Probably one of the best driving videos on the Internet.

I know that road really well. Such a nice drive! Great video :-)
Brilliant video with the added bonus of the drive to Penrith
Super uk loves your videos bro.....
I was raised in Connecticut, in America, where many of the scenes are similar, hills, lakes, trees...no wonder the Lake District fostered great poets.

Thank you so much, mate!
Is the drive easy when you go up?
Snowdonia is nice, so is the many other places in UK.
The Yorkshire dales has some amazing driving roads

Kirain di jawa tengah,, apa iya?
Interesting to see the camera sliding on the top of the dashboard instead of being suctioned on the windscreen

Might be an idea to do commentary
I was very disappointed in the fact that you never took us into the promised destination of Keswick, spoiled an otherwise good vide .
Look at all that sky. Aim the camera down a bit.

Nothing spectacular. Just a road like many others ..
You didn't go to Keswick, you bloody fool.
59:31 KESWICK SIGN, ''you bloody fool''
Why would you call someone a fool just because in your opinion they had made a mistake?
He started
@@patrickkelly7085 mainly cos he didn't go to Keswick and wandered off to Penrith on the A66. Love my old stomping grounds tho' and love the vid.
If you Google Keswick, you will find many drives in, into, and out of the town. Including test drives!

The video says most scenic in England, not UK.

Snowdonia is not in England. And Scotland never will be. 😉
Scottish and welsh roads sucks too much traffic and potholes.
