- Here is a LAKE DISTRICT DRIVE from Kendal to Ambleside. I thought I'd have a drive through the stunning Lake District and film it for a relaxing ASMR video so turn up the sound, sit back and enjoy as I take you through the countryside from Kendal all the way to beautiful Ambleside!

Thanks for the lovely drive Neil. I loved visiting the Lake District whilst living in England. Hiking on the moorland with the beautiful purple Heather scattered all around me. I especially enjoyed to seeing an occasional wandering sheep sharing the grasslands with me! Bliss ;)

That’s made a pleasant change, a beautiful area that I haven’t been for years. Many years ago I had a driving job where I drove up through the lakes and across to Workington and down to Sellafield, loved that trip seeing it pretty much all four seasons. Glad I moved to better things.

Came back from bowness 2 weeks ago, watched a lot of your videos b4 we went, totally fell in love with the lake district especially grasmere, scenery is absolutely stunning 😊
It is the greatest holiday to go on in England 🇬🇧 with the hills and the lakes all over the fish and chips are great to eat and the view you see on the top of the hills in the fells in Cumbria 🎉so amazing 👏 so much to do in Lake District 😊l had a holiday there lam going back again l be gong to lake District every year now always the human beings are so kind giving you food and drink on your long walks so kind hearted always lake District is brilliant the old human beings live a long time always another great video again a big fan always 😊
This is a lovely drive and a reminder of the days when we had sunshine. I am planning to go back to the lakes to make images of the countryside in atrocious weather, because it's all we have to work with today.
Today I’ve been out filming and had a nightmare with the wind and rain!

Great video. And my wife and I could relive lovely memories of the Lake District from when we visited late 2022 and caught COVID-19 at a cafe in Grasmere! Ha ha ha .... Loved driving through there and wandering around - so atmospheric.

@@GimbalWalkTV I think worked really well from within the car. You might get a few flies on the lens if you put it on the bonnet 😂
@@GimbalWalkTV oh wait... that was on the bonnet outside? I'm surprised how well that worked. I assumed the camera was on the dashboard but I guess you'd get too much reflection if you did that.
Bit of a funny drive from Kendal to Ambleside, a little bit of Keswick in there & the final bit of the video pulled into a car park in Grasmere. How do i know I'm up in the Lake District very often.
